Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is relatively on par with what is usually taught throughout our country is regularly updated too. Teh faculty are mostly average. No doubt in their education but rather their skills. My course is an up and coming one which is why i opted for it

Internships Opportunities

3.5

A great number of companies visit our college every year to pick students for their esteemed organizations to either in turn or work there full time. They, like others, require sharp minds to be taken into consideration

Placement Experience

2.5

The placements of our college have definitely taken ahead due to the current recession that is going on. The number of companies that usually visit our campus have definitely decreased but I believe that the number will come back to its original number when we come out of this difficult phase

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure has already been mentioned and the fees is definitely on the higher side because of it being a private institution. Due to the currect recession, private institutions have definitely taken a hit. It is still decent though, the placement package

Campus Life

4

Campus life at our institution is very good. An institute holds three major festivals throughout the year and has one of the biggest libraries in the world. Most if not all classrooms already have projectors and the teachers are equipped with ipads to teach students properly

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel facilities are decent at best. The food is not that great for the price. The infrastructure is very good and stable and the rooms that we have been provided with are very good to accommodate 2 people.

Admission

The admission process was very smooth when it comes to all things. We were provided with all the cut offs for all branches. We are then supposed to fill up our preferences and would then be allotted branches based on these preferences. Our college doesn't have any of its own exam but rather the cutoffs are that of JEE. The application form can simply be found on the official website of the college. All other related information such as the dates etc can be found on the same website. The system of reservation does exist for a variety of categories. i don't think there is anything wrong with the admission process of Thapar. Of you make the cut, you get the branch you want. If not, well then, tough luck.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good and cover every aspects of learning and skills needed in today's time but it feels the semester get over to fast in around 3.5 months with 3 exams and lab exam. They should provide the real learning based on a student interest some student are good in coding but they lack to communicate better, they should focus on that part also as they also do in many cases by giving subjects like soft skills and communication skills every sem.The teacher should not be reading the ppt only . We can do that also why we are paying that much fees just to learn from a teacher who is just reading the slides.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the course curriculum as largely relevant and fairly comprehensive,. one of the main reasons i chose this course was the balance between conceptual foundations and practical exposure. the curricuum supports future academic growth since many of the modules introduce us to advance topics early, making it easier to explore research. some topics feel slightly outdated and could be aligned better with the current industry skills and technologies. the exam schedule is manageable, though sometimes multiple assessments happen in the same week or same day, ehich adds pressure . Spacing out evaluations a bit more and giving clearer rubrics could improve the overall experience
