What Students Say

Likes

The campus life sports faculty ans the clubs.
The labs and the faculty , events happening
College fests and hackathons and other coding events.

Dislikes

Too much student intake thus creating a competition.
Student intake has increased verh much but still not a big issue.
Not very much other problems are mentioned above.

Course Curriculum Overview

The Mid sems were after two months of the session and the end semisters were three months after the mid sems. The exams were not difficult to pass if you studied regularly or minimim a week to ten days before the exams.

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 625000 per year

Internships Opportunities

For internships various companies like Deloit ,Adobe , J P Morgan , Microsoft ,IBM and many other companies come some offer internship on basis of projects made and some give a coding test. Stipend is around 60000 to 100000 per month.

Placement Experience

Placements are good. You can get a great placement if you work hard and my main aim is to learn dsa and prepare for campus placements . Students from sixths semester are elligible for placements and from fifth sem for internship.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees of the college is around 4.5 lakhs per anmum and for scholarship, there are 2 criteria on the basis of jee and on the basis of boards ,total around 10% of the students of every branch got scholarships and from the next year onwards, scholarships will be given on. Campus Life

Campus Life is good. There are various societies which we can join to groom ourselves and learn more about tech marketing and publicity departmentments and learn to organize events. Sports events are also held

Hostel Facilities

My room is approximately 1 km from the place where my classes takes place. The rooms are fine well and cleaned everyday. An AC attached to every room. The cost of mess had the hostel around 54000 for semester. The mess food is good and healthy.

Hostel Fee: INR 54000 per year

Admission

A student has to get 60% marks. Minimum in PCM admissions. Admissions are done on the basis of Jee and board examinations 50%. Of seats are reserved for the jee and other 50% of boards. I was admitted on basis of my Pcm percentage.

Chandigarh University - My experience from fees to social life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good and cover every aspects of learning and skills needed in today's time but it feels the semester get over to fast in around 3.5 months with 3 exams and lab exam. They should provide the real learning based on a student interest some student are good in coding but they lack to communicate better, they should focus on that part also as they also do in many cases by giving subjects like soft skills and communication skills every sem.The teacher should not be reading the ppt only . We can do that also why we are paying that much fees just to learn from a teacher who is just reading the slides.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the course curriculum as largely relevant and fairly comprehensive,. one of the main reasons i chose this course was the balance between conceptual foundations and practical exposure. the curricuum supports future academic growth since many of the modules introduce us to advance topics early, making it easier to explore research. some topics feel slightly outdated and could be aligned better with the current industry skills and technologies. the exam schedule is manageable, though sometimes multiple assessments happen in the same week or same day, ehich adds pressure . Spacing out evaluations a bit more and giving clearer rubrics could improve the overall experience

Honest is the best Policy

I was getting addmission in some other private colleges but this was near to me and had a great rew.. Its infra and hostels are really worth it.
