Fee structure, scholarship and course guidelines

they listen to student, if we share them our problems they take it very seriously and take a quick action, the problems can be regarding anything like studies, health or bullying too
the university has well managed surroundings. In every corner there is dustbin. the cleaning staff is good they make sure that every corner of university is clean and tidy
there are many facilities for students. Like they have different and proper section for sports like badminton, football ground, swimming pool, basket ball ground and the fee is very less anyone can afford

Dislikes

there is not much thing which i disliked about my university
sometimes staff can be very rude. they don't listen to students properly
being very huge and reputed university they should know that respecting other is also very important sometimes when parents of any student comes the security or hostel warden don't treat them properly which really disgust me

Course Curriculum Overview:

my chosen subject is likely to be very relevant as I would like to choose my career as an assistant professor and this subject fulfills all the criteria. its just that I appreciate it if our coursework would be of more period. they should also conduct one session to prepare us for our seminar viva and ETP because sometimes we prepare something else and panel members want something else so it is better to provide us with one particular guidelines

Infrastructure and teaching and placements are also good
Nice placements and good package and also fees is less for me

Dislikes

Hostel food is not nice and not good as well
Laundary in hostel and I affected with rashes

Placement Experience:

Placements are good because from 3 year we will do interships and sessions on english how to communicate and get good package. I have got 2 company offers and selected one the percentage is getting placement is more than 85 percentage

LPU, world of dreams in india

Likes

The infrastructure, and their classrooms.
Faculty is also good, and their events and contests.
Concerts and dance party, edm night and many more activities.

Dislikes

Faculties are not experienced as much, they are also a PhD students.
They change sections every semesters, so it create so much trouble.
Their classes and timings are not suitable.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but it is very very competitive because of number of students is so high, in my batch their are 4000 students out of which 1500 are placed and some are opted of higher education, government exams and other things and approx 300-400 are unplaced yet.

College campus size in area is too vast. It has its own mall also
Availability of standard resources provided by the campus
Surrounding and environment is very soothing and everyone likes it a lot.

Dislikes

Groupism occurs between students who come all across the country.
Proffesors of the college and curriculum is strict
Domination of local students happens inside the campus.

Placement Experience:

Maximum students gets placed in my branch with an average package of 6-8LPA. The companies which provides placements are TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, Cisco and many more. Highest package last year was 72LPA from Microsoft.

A Review that Reminds the Best days.

Likes

The faculty is way good and holds enough knowledge to share, they are too positive and interactive and that helps students to get deep into the course.
The infrastructure of the college is fine, like there are around 60 blocks in the college each block is having around 10 floors and every block is perfectly maintained not only blocks, the roads and the area's are perfectly maintained.
The placement cell is also fine like they bring us a lot of opportunities daily in our final year they help the students to get placed by improving the students placement skills by arranging separate placement classes to the students.

Dislikes

The rules are very strict like we have to pay the dues in exact time, if not our classes will be blocked and we will be marked absent

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students are eligible to get placements, The companies that Visited are like Indigo, AirIndia, Quest Global.. for Aerospace students. Almost 90% of the students get Placed I got placed in Avitron Aerospace in my 8th sem and I started working.

I like this college beacuse of very good infrastructure
And also their is huge diversity among the students
Highly well planned and qualified faculties

Dislikes

Huge crowd and language issues due to diversity of student
Too muchhh coastly and can't affordable hostel academic both at same time
Placement is not legit as the college fess

An honest Insight of my college LPU

Likes

LPU has one of best infrastructure and facilities.
Around 90 to 95 percent of students get placed in a reputed company.
LPU has a diverse cultures. People from all over the world come to study.

Dislikes

The tution fees is quite high, not everyone can afford.
In every section their are around 70 to 75 student which make it difficult for teacher to manage.

Placement Experience:

From the 6 semester you will be eligible for the placement drive. Many companies visited LPU for recruitment and some of them are MNCs also The highest package is 1 crore from my batch and average is 7LPA. Around 90 to 95 % get placed.

My college and hostel experience

Likes

The most i like is college infrastructure.
The behaviour of faculty towards the students.
The security inside the campus for girls and boys.

Dislikes

It has a huge campus and the distance between hostel and class room is bit long.

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester students are eligible for college placement. One of the student from batch get placement of 1 crore from college. and the average pakage is around 6 lakhs. 90 percent of students are getting placed. I got pre placement offer from one company and will continue there after the degree.

Likes

The professors are highly knowledgeable and talented.
The university has tie ups with reputed companies providing great intership and jobs.
The university offers career counseling,metal health support .

Dislikes

Some subjects still follow an outed syllabus.
The attendance policy is very strict. And some effects students
During peak hours, classroom libraries and cafeterias become overcrowded.

Students become eligible for placements from 6th 7th semester some companies other internships that convert into full time jobs. Precutors include Infosys Wipro Amazon. Highest packages 1 crore offered by Google . Average packages 8 lakh. 90% of student secured placements in least requirement drive. Students after for higher studies in India or abroad mainly in MBA.

LIFE OF LPU IN THE WORDS

Likes

interior and neighbhoor hood of the college
the class or so big and the explanition of the teachersare very good
here not only the study but they will show the same interest on the sports also

Dislikes

the mess was not good for the south people
there are small problems in the hostel like washrooms, ac repairs
the rules are very strict compare to other colleges

I completed BTech CSE from LPU back in 2016. You might say that LPU has changed since then, but I am still in touch with my juniors and here is my experience:

Placements: More than 550+ MNCs and startups visit the LPU campus for placement. In recent news, Yasir M., student of LPU, grabbed an offer of INR 3 crore in Germany. The highest CTC offered for the engineering programs at LPU is INR 42 LPA.
Scholarships: People might think LPU is pricey since it is a private colleges, but LPU provides scholarships to bright students with good academic records, good track record in sports, or extracurricular activities. LPU also helps students in the education loan facility.
Research: In terms of research, Stanford University has ranked almost 13 LPU faculty members amongst the top 2% of scientists in the world.
Faculty: The faculty members are from top institutes like IITs, NITs, IIMs, and top-ranked universities globally.

I am a BTech Mechanical graduate from LPU. Here is an honest review on the placement scenario at LPU (in engineering)-

The placement scenario is poor for Civil, Mechanical and Electrical. Few companies visit these departments for placements, and hire a maximum of 5-10 students in total. But if someone knows basic coding, they can sit for IT placements.

Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, etc. visit the CSE/IT departments for mass hiring. Very few core companies visit the ECE department for recruitments, so the students rely on IT companies. A mere 40/50 out of 1000 ECE students get hired by an Electronics company from the campus. The IT companies mass hire students at a CTC of around 3.5 LPA.

This is the engineering placement scenario at LPU.

Being a graduate from LPU, I found the campus life quite joyful as everyone in the university is supportive. I liked the following things about the University:

Students get success in placements based on their learning and skills provided by the University. The University trains the students to grab high-quality job offers.
LPU receives numerous companies for placements, although only a fraction of students secure high-paying offers, partly due to the large student population.
LPU's campus can accommodate its many students, with classes divided into manageable sizes for effective teaching.

LPU maintains a strict anti-ragging policy and provides a secure environment with extensive CCTV surveillance.
