Course Curriculum Overview

5

my chosen subject is likely to be very relevant as I would like to choose my career as an assistant professor and this subject fulfills all the criteria. its just that I appreciate it if our coursework would be of more period. they should also conduct one session to prepare us for our seminar viva and ETP because sometimes we prepare something else and panel members want something else so it is better to provide us with one particular guidelines

Fees and Financial Aid

when I joined My university the fee was around 1 lakh 20 thousand but they have many scholarship schemes so that students can easily afford the semester fee. initially, we have given the LPUNEST exam it comes in three phases according to that your fee gets decreased. I got a 90% scholarship so my fee is around 15000 per semester, along with this LPU also gives some other scholarships like a female scholarship, or u have nice grades in your 12th board or you are an army kid. i am doing P.hD. so we get 60k allowance from university for our research work which is very kind of them.

Campus Life

5

it was good, i made many friends in the hostel and class too. The faculty is nice and the class is also very well managed. To access the library its very easy and they have all the books which we need. there are also many extracurricular activities have been initiated and there are also group for LGBTQ community where they have been given respect and the main thing in this university there is no discrimination wether you are from India, Nepal, Africa or any other place

Admission

As I already mention I am persuing an agriculture from Lovely professional university which being only private college which is affiliated with ICAR is very helpful for us to get jobs. in my city there is no college which has ICAR affliation so that is why i chose this college and also the fee was good after scholarship

Faculty

5

as I am a student of agriculture school the faculty are here so respected and experienced. The ratio is like 60:40 between student and teacher which is good. All faculty are very supportive. every student has their guide to share their problems regarding academics or any personal problems too. I like all the faculty they have their aura and personality. Being research scholars we have exams in our initial semester when our course work is going on after that we have our 3 ETP in which we have to give presentation to show our progress after that we have to give pre-submission viva and last final submission viva

Night Life

5

its very good and safe. Girls and boys have different sections so both can easily enjoy and there is in build cafe in hostel so there is no need to go outside you have everything there only, also they have tuckshop where everything is available which is very good perspective

Placement Experience:

Students start becoming eligible for campus placements from the sixth semester, and that’s when most training sessions for aptitude, coding and soft skills also begin. The placement cell is active throughout the year and brings in a mix of product-based, service-based and mid-tier tech companies. The number of offers varies every year, but CSE-related branches usually get the highest share of opportunities. Companies come for roles like software trainee, analyst, QA, support engineering and web development, so there’s a good spread of entry-level roles.

The placement of our college is good but its lack to bring big names but overall it's 3 out of 5 as it's basically focus on bringing software companies but our stream is of electronics so we donot have that much knowledge about coding so we lack to get placed this is the only disadvantage of the placement cell here

In 3rd semester a student is eligible for campus placement but it is all upto to students that they have to maintain a good cgpa and skills for interviews. In Chitkara university a good number of companies visited like Microsoft, google and they provide 100+ offerletters. 85-90 % students get placed in Chitkara university. Placement Experience:

There is an option for students to opt for placements from campus in our university and if we seect that option we are given special training by the university it self in fields which we think we are weak. That include technical and non technical fields like soft skills. University also ties up with other triaining companis to train us in better way by calling tutors from outside the campus for teaching us. Over all if we consider we are already well trained by university to sit for on campus placements and we usually get a good paying job which also helps us to gain more knowledge and improve ourself.
