My college review for LPU.

Likes

LPU has robust placement cell which work nicely to connect students with top recruiters.
Global exposure is offered by the college which is very good for overall character development.
Faculties in nLPU are best and the way they teach is just awesome.

Dislikes

LPU's fee is quite high which everyone cannot afford.
The numbe of students is very high, college usually take everyone who applies.
As university is very big in size so we have to attend classes in different different blocks.

Placement Experience:

Placement in LPU is very nice. If you will be serious enough you will get placd easily. From semester 5 you will be eligible for internships and placements. A lot of companies visit like Cognizant, TCS, Capgemini, Opentext, WNS, MoveInSync, PLAY SIMPLE GAMES, etc. Avg package is around 6-7 LPA.

After joining you can opt for placements and average placements is good and depending on stream your and how many years for your course and then you will be eligible for placements. Avg package-4.5-6laks per annum. Placements will 96%. My plans are preparing for master.

Likes

One of the best college in terms of Infrastructure
You will get a lot of opportunities for placements and internships
There will be placement specific classes so that you can get ready for your placement drives before starting the 4th year .

Dislikes

Hostel Fees is too high but the rooms are not good as compared to the pricing .
Faculties are good but Improvement is required in some tech specific subjects

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are really good The opportunities will start from 2nd Year Itself but majorly in 3rd year you will get a lot of Opportunities . Also the companies will come which will offer you 1 year internship . Around 800+ companies visit our college and the highest package is around 48 lpa . and minimum is 2 lpa around 80% students gets placed .

I liked the campus and the infrastructure of the university

Dislikes

I didn't like the food in the hostel but the food stall outside were nice to eat

Placement Experience:

Placement are offered in my college but there are various constraints like you need to have a cgpa above than the company requirements and you should not be having backlog or reappear in any of tge subjects

Lpu honest college review

Likes

The campus is huge and encompasses various facilities like swimming pool, indoor complex, outdoor sports along with that unlike other normal colleges where only academics is done here equal weightage is given to co curricular activies as well.
Each block has its own food court and even inside the blocks the tuck shops are available.
Campus has a specific block 13 DSW which has various society clubs like theatre, dance, literary, event management etc.

Dislikes

If i talk about my department, infrastructure is not that good but other department has got good infrastructures.
I dont like the way the bpt department is managed, time table is very hectic , full packed from 9 to 5.
Some faculties are good but some are so difficult to deal with.

Placement Experience:

Lpu has special placement cell which takes care of placements. Companies do come to lpu like Microsoft and deltoid etc. I'm from bpt department so i don't know that much. In our department placements rate are low Students do get hired in hospitals as I have heard from seniors.

Lovely Professional University-Honest review

Lpu has lush green campus which is the best part of LPU also the diversity of students here is great, Faculty here is very good, and educated enough to help you in Eve aspects of your life
Great Infrastructure and affordable fees, University conducts various Events and hackathons one can make use of it and can learn many things out of it
Various technical, non - technical event happens which are very good and relaxing after attending hectic, tight packed scheduled classes

Dislikes

Placement services are not so good as they advertise in their banners and prospectus
Classes are way too hectic and we get no time for self study
Too much academic pressure on students, exam are conducted too oftenly

Placement Experience:

Our university has not so great placement for those who just take this course for granted. Placement is for those who actually have skills. Talking about average package it is around 400000, and highest package is 640000 and minimum package is 200000 per annum

Ambience and infrastructure of the college
Hanging area for the students with playing ground swimming pool
Occasion and events occur in college with full enjoyment

Dislikes

Boring lectures which I don't understand there launguage
Embarrassment from the senior by taking the ragging
Food quality and and mess are not good that I can't digest properly

LPU the college of dreams

Likes

the faculty are very nice in the college they teach very well
The Ppt and pdf provided by the university is also very helpful for the examination
The Hostel Environment is very good and the safety is also provided

Dislikes

the gap given in the exam are given less

The placement are in college are good more than 100+ companies visit in the college. amazon, google,microsoft. more than 90% students are being placed every year. students are eleigible for placement after 6th semester.

Expensive but good LPU

Likes

I liked the campus overall it is huge and vast approximately 20 acres of land
The crowd from various backgrounds and cultures
The faculty and teacher so polite and understanding

Dislikes

Sport weren't made much attention to to be honest
The cafeteria doesn't serves healthy and fresh meal
The faculty dismangment no good airconditioner and benches

In Lovely professional University placement record was totally good. Infact my senior who completed my BBA from this college. got selected in No broker company and have done my internship in Shriram life insurance. University support students very well in placement. The LPU life

Likes

I liked the campus as everything is available in itself
Every student is given a personal mentor for their help
I liked the faculties also as they are focused towards student's future

Dislikes

Fees is very high for a middle class family
Nothing about the announcements of holidays is made clear officially
There are 9 to 5 classes daily so when should one study

Placement Experience:

Placements are fine actually if you are a good student. For placements you should maintain 6.5 CGPA so that you can sit in a good company interview and package given are quiet average but the main condition is that you should not have any backlog/reappear at that time.

I completed BTech CSE from LPU back in 2016. You might say that LPU has changed since then, but I am still in touch with my juniors and here is my experience:

Placements: More than 550+ MNCs and startups visit the LPU campus for placement. In recent news, Yasir M., student of LPU, grabbed an offer of INR 3 crore in Germany. The highest CTC offered for the engineering programs at LPU is INR 42 LPA.
Scholarships: People might think LPU is pricey since it is a private colleges, but LPU provides scholarships to bright students with good academic records, good track record in sports, or extracurricular activities. LPU also helps students in the education loan facility.
Research: In terms of research, Stanford University has ranked almost 13 LPU faculty members amongst the top 2% of scientists in the world.
Faculty: The faculty members are from top institutes like IITs, NITs, IIMs, and top-ranked universities globally.

I am a BTech Mechanical graduate from LPU. Here is an honest review on the placement scenario at LPU (in engineering)-

The placement scenario is poor for Civil, Mechanical and Electrical. Few companies visit these departments for placements, and hire a maximum of 5-10 students in total. But if someone knows basic coding, they can sit for IT placements.

Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, etc. visit the CSE/IT departments for mass hiring. Very few core companies visit the ECE department for recruitments, so the students rely on IT companies. A mere 40/50 out of 1000 ECE students get hired by an Electronics company from the campus. The IT companies mass hire students at a CTC of around 3.5 LPA.

This is the engineering placement scenario at LPU.

Being a graduate from LPU, I found the campus life quite joyful as everyone in the university is supportive. I liked the following things about the University:
