My Entire Experience in My University

Likes

I like the environment of the college and the unique diversified culture is way too good.
The teaching and classroom infrastucture is really good to be honest.
The placement opportunities are really high and is around 90%.

Dislikes

The mess food is not that good. There's different food but the taste isn't that good.
The distance from hostel to classes is way too long.
It's really hot out there. The temperature during summer is in peak and is around 39 to 47 degree celsius.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is really good to be honest. There is more than 153 plus courses and students can take any course as per their wish. The buisness studies is really good in our university and mostly many students opt that course.

Things that i liked is the large campus withe best furniture and equipmemts and college also the diversity of college

Placement Experience:

As per my experience in college, a 3rd year B tech student with a good cgpa is eligible for the placement drive. he or she can sit in drives and if they qualify in technical rounds they get placements from very big MNC with very good packages.

MSc Agriculture course from LPU

The university is very strict with attendence which is a good thing as it forces the students to attend the lectures and practicals.
They provide mentors which is helpful to the students.
The faculty is always willing to help the students .

Dislikes

Placements are rarely good. The promised package always differs once you join the company.
Wardens are rude and hostel rules always changes without prior notifications.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement after 3rd semester. But the companies are not upto the mark. The salary and job roles are not upto the mark. Many students choose to study further for PhD due to this reason.

Lpu college life

Likes

Lpu have great campus and good infrastructure
Lpu have good placement record and gave a good salary package
Lpu have diversity in many many like sports and cultural

Dislikes

Lpu doesn't have good mess food like we pay for
Lpu security guard are so rude and arrogant
Lpu does give extension on attendance if you don't have 75 percentage then you don't qualify for exam

Placement Experience:

Lpu have good record intheir placement area like most of the students get placed in many mnc company and lpu also provide gigh package placement in their campus if you work hard then you ll get good package in you hand and there many Internship opportunities in the campus with that you ll get experience. If you don't study nad didn't know anything then it s a different thing other lpu have great placement like 80 to 90 percentage get placed

Lovely Professional University overall review

Likes

I got to interact with the people from different countries.
My college gave me various exposures. Various kind of fest, hackathon, webinar and many more programs are organised.
Campus is really beautiful and it give all the facilities.

Dislikes

High intake of students. In our cse branch itself there is around 4000 to 5000 students which creates a lot of competition during placement.
Only the topper students get the good teachers.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from 5th or 6th semester. College gives a good placement oppurtunities. Companies like google microsoft amazon ibm wipro they all use to visit our college and gives a good packages.

I choose this University over others because it is one of the best private university in India. it's free structured for the same course is very decent and affordable when you want quality and practical knowledge about any course that you are intest.
The facilities here makes it the first preference that is good thing specially for the student these things student like the most. Also here the very big campus. Here facilities are very very helpful these things we like the most also u have a mentor
In lpu there were one mall and so many food court are there if u want any thing all things are available inside the campus. Inside mall gym saloon McDonald's pizza hub means what you want all these things available also stationary bank or best part .

Dislikes

It's totally up to you that what kind of impression you are going to create in your college and how active and how much hunger you have to grab the opportunities, some students had a bad experience at their college I mean to say that have to dislike
Some people study hard and reaches to the height where as some don't like to study and faces the music in end. In the same way student don't get placement in because of there bad score in academics. And semester month is very less compare to other cl
Prospective of every person varies.but me being a part of lpu I have till now come accross anyone who hates the university. My entire experience in the campus has been amazing from facilities to faculty from the campus life to hostel life everything

Placement Experience:

From 6 semester student are allow to take the placement classes. So many companies are visiting like Google Infosys fang 2000+ companies are came .the highest package from lpu is 3 cr and minimum 3 lac. Out of ten percent maximum placed 6 percent are placed from campus. My plans first we complete my btech with the good numbers after that we try for placement if I not got good placement in campus then we try off campus.

LPU Things

Likes

LPU in terms of exposure is one of the best choice among private universities.
Their are some really great talented people in DSW
They provide you a mentor who helps you anytime no matter what the problem is

Dislikes

Crowd at LPU is huge. There are many students in just one batch

Placement Experience:

There are campus placements at LPU. Many tech companies come here like Amazon, Microsoft, cognizant etc. The average package is 6-7 lakhs and if we talk about the highest package then is around 50-60 lakhs. One of our seniors got 64LPA in Amazon.

An honest review on Lovely Professional University

Likes

The infrastructure of Lovely professional University is extremely great, alot of huge buildings and a huge mall for shopping
The academics is really great as looking at the average placement package, students here are satisfied and have got really good faculties
The campus life is really enjoyable, you get a equal mix of studies and leisure time activity

Dislikes

Overall there is nothing much to complain about the university it has everything in its excellence and has provided the best for the students

LPU B.Tech CSE: A Comprehensive Review

I like how the college runs , like discipline wise , everything is under control , no mess or fights and proper academic arrangement
IT totally depends on student not on college, If a student want something college provide it, If you don't study there, you don't get anything.

Dislikes

Most annoying thing is mass admission taken by college, there are approx 7-8k students in only case branch

College Review

Likes

College provides scholarship on the basis pf their LPUNEST exam.
College puts more effort to help students who got re-appears by providing remedial classes.
They provide placement training before 1 year of placement season.

Dislikes

There are so many restrictions in hostels.
We cann't go outside from hostels after 2 am.
We don't get some free time to work on skills beside of college work.

Placement Experience:

According to me, When I was in my 4th semester college starting giving some internship opportunities through placement portal. We can apply for internship / placements in 3rd year of BTech (CSE) . Till now,around 82-85% students of 2024 batch got placed.

I completed BTech CSE from LPU back in 2016. You might say that LPU has changed since then, but I am still in touch with my juniors and here is my experience:

Placements: More than 550+ MNCs and startups visit the LPU campus for placement. In recent news, Yasir M., student of LPU, grabbed an offer of INR 3 crore in Germany. The highest CTC offered for the engineering programs at LPU is INR 42 LPA.
Scholarships: People might think LPU is pricey since it is a private colleges, but LPU provides scholarships to bright students with good academic records, good track record in sports, or extracurricular activities. LPU also helps students in the education loan facility.
Research: In terms of research, Stanford University has ranked almost 13 LPU faculty members amongst the top 2% of scientists in the world.
Faculty: The faculty members are from top institutes like IITs, NITs, IIMs, and top-ranked universities globally.

I am a BTech Mechanical graduate from LPU. Here is an honest review on the placement scenario at LPU (in engineering)-

The placement scenario is poor for Civil, Mechanical and Electrical. Few companies visit these departments for placements, and hire a maximum of 5-10 students in total. But if someone knows basic coding, they can sit for IT placements.

Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, etc. visit the CSE/IT departments for mass hiring. Very few core companies visit the ECE department for recruitments, so the students rely on IT companies. A mere 40/50 out of 1000 ECE students get hired by an Electronics company from the campus. The IT companies mass hire students at a CTC of around 3.5 LPA.

This is the engineering placement scenario at LPU.

Being a graduate from LPU, I found the campus life quite joyful as everyone in the university is supportive. I liked the following things about the University:
