LPU DETAILS

Likes

The greenary and flowers in lpu are just the good environment that students need
The timetable is also comfortable and teachers are friendly as well
There are strict rules and security in the college which is good as there's no ragging and fights

Dislikes

Nothing much everything is fine and I think the hostel rooms should be a bit bigger
Nothing much everything is fine and okay
Hostel food should be improved as the south food doesn't taste good

Placement Experience:

From the 6th sem students get eligible for internship and the college provides it's best to give the student a good level of internship there are many companies that visit in a year. There is almost 80% of students getting placements because there are people who opted for higher education and govt jobs. After getting a degree the plan will be to get a good placement.

Honest Review of LPU

Likes

Wide exposure provides lot of opportunities to students for explore themselves and see the real interest within them.
Great campus provides many things within the campus like hotel, mall, restaurants and many things.
Fully digital management system helps students to manage everything digitally and easily.

Dislikes

Some faculty is little bit less experienced in their field
Very big campus. Have to walk much to change buildings.
For some students, the campus is very far away from home.

Placement Experience:

After 4th semester students can get internship and after 3rd or 6th semester students can participate in placement drives and can get placement offer. Till now highest package is around 3 crore per year and average package is around 7 to 8 lakhs per annum.

Campus life expense

Likes

Large lush green campus having all facilities
Campus have shopping mall atm bank and services
Teacher are well trained and friendly in nature

Dislikes

Campus are location in centre of agriculture land
Temperature are extremely hot are cold like 2 and 50 degree C.
University accept all student who full their basic characteristics which create croud

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum are not as much updated for the need of current time also not to much old which is outed. University recently add AI and ML in our department which is deigned recently. NBA recently visited our campus which give great response in the term of feedback.

Likes

I like the size of the campus and the facilities provided there.
Grounds and the greenery I like most and swimming pool also
Transport facility and hostels and uni mall I like the most

Dislikes

I don't like the food of the mess which quality is not good
I don't like the timmings of the classes as there are 7 to 8 classes in a day .
I don't like the water drainage system there

Course Curriculum Overview:

My decision is to become software engineer so I choose btech cse , in my personal opinion they have to teach c and c++ languages first then they should teach python and Java. Improvement should be in the time given to ca because in every month there are ca's which is very difficult for us to get marks .

A honest review of LPU

Likes

I liked the campus very much, although it needs a bit improvement, it is one of the most beautiful place I've ever visited.
The students in LPU are very diverse coming from many states, and cultures, you get to enjoy all kind of festivals

Dislikes

The amount of events happening daily, since there are a lot of students, almost 30k.
Whenever it rains a lot, the water gets blocked and most of the road becomes unusable, rain water management needs a bit of improvement.

Placement Experience:

LPU has placement drives regularly in almost every field. The best placements coming from obviously, CSE branch, where the highest placed students have got dream packages like 60-70 LPA, students can try for placements from 3rd year directly. Many top MNCs visit the campus for placement every year, where more than 60% get placed with average being 6-7 lakh and highest ones being 1cr+.

Harsh truth of my college

Likes

Top class infrastructure, the campus is really huge and a fully green .
High experienced faculties. Faculties are so friendly in nature and cooperative

Dislikes

Too many restrictions. In the scenerio of a student University fail to deliver a good college experience
Food quality . Food quality is so bad in hostel mess
Attandance criteria. Ther didn't provide any medicle leave no matter how sick you are or you had a accident

Placement Experience:

Placements are quiet good but when we see the no. Of students studying in the university than we can say this that the college doesn't provide a good ROI. Highest average package is around 10 to 12 lakh per annum . But most of students get an average package of 4 to 6 lakh per annum. College say that they have 100% placement but this is not real 50 to 60% of students only get placement. After getting the degree I will go for business or go for foreign

My First Review

Likes

In LPU teachers is very helpful and friendly in studies.
Infrastructure of the LPU is very eye catching.
In Campus, their is lot of food stalls. No need to worry about food varieties in college

Dislikes

In campus, I think there is more security in the campus.
Sometimes, i think we have to walk too much for our classes and for stalls.
Sometimes Behaviour of security is veryy rude to our students.

Placement Experience:

From 3 semester, students is eligible for internships and placements. In lpu so many companies visites every year some of the companies are : Infosys, Bosch, Google etc The highest package of our University is 3 crore last year. And the percentage of the students is 40-50 % My plans after degree is going to higher studies.

Likes

I like it's infrastructure and various new opportunities where we can show our strength and we can prove ourself in every field.
It also helps to create a environment of learning and sports
Lpu has various computing building and various courses to prove yourself in any field

Dislikes

We need to study whole semester in order to secure goodmarks
We just can't enjoy we need to always focus on studies

Lovely Professional University

Likes

The college has a huge campus size with a great infrastructure
The faculty is highly qualified and expert in their field
The overall curriculum is very good and it provides with a lot a extra curricular opportunities

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year students are provided with the internships and by the end of the third year placement drives starts.50 core companies visit the campus. Highest package is around 20 lakh and the position offerd was data analyst. About 90% of the students get placed.

College Life Of LPU

Likes

I liked the diverse culture that LPU have.
All basic things are available inside the campus.
People from different places come and reside together.

Dislikes

I didn't liked the fee structure that they increase every year.

Placement Experience:

Placement of our college good . Many companies visit and many Students gets placed but the competition is very high . The college enroll too many students for a course that the placement of each child is not guaranteed.

I completed BTech CSE from LPU back in 2016. You might say that LPU has changed since then, but I am still in touch with my juniors and here is my experience:

Placements: More than 550+ MNCs and startups visit the LPU campus for placement. In recent news, Yasir M., student of LPU, grabbed an offer of INR 3 crore in Germany. The highest CTC offered for the engineering programs at LPU is INR 42 LPA.
Scholarships: People might think LPU is pricey since it is a private colleges, but LPU provides scholarships to bright students with good academic records, good track record in sports, or extracurricular activities. LPU also helps students in the education loan facility.
Research: In terms of research, Stanford University has ranked almost 13 LPU faculty members amongst the top 2% of scientists in the world.
Faculty: The faculty members are from top institutes like IITs, NITs, IIMs, and top-ranked universities globally.

I am a BTech Mechanical graduate from LPU. Here is an honest review on the placement scenario at LPU (in engineering)-

The placement scenario is poor for Civil, Mechanical and Electrical. Few companies visit these departments for placements, and hire a maximum of 5-10 students in total. But if someone knows basic coding, they can sit for IT placements.

Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, etc. visit the CSE/IT departments for mass hiring. Very few core companies visit the ECE department for recruitments, so the students rely on IT companies. A mere 40/50 out of 1000 ECE students get hired by an Electronics company from the campus. The IT companies mass hire students at a CTC of around 3.5 LPA.

This is the engineering placement scenario at LPU.

Being a graduate from LPU, I found the campus life quite joyful as everyone in the university is supportive. I liked the following things about the University:
