I really liked the curriculum of the college and the vast infrastucture which is provived for students and there are many opportunities for students who are into sports or any kind of extra curricular activities
The advance curriculum of college which they change according to the market demands ane needs specially for cse and mba
The events which are happening on the regular basis which help student to take relief from academic pressure.

Dislikes

I don't like the rush of LPU which they are increasing due to that competition and problems are also increasing
Sometimes there exam system sucks you have to give exams weekly and due to which monotony of balance of life disturb
All the things are fine these two are big issues sometime the exams are out of the box

I really appreciated the curriculum which is advance as my course is cse and everytime I see they check market requirements and change their academic subjects accordingly but basic subjects are always there which is required for any cse student like dsa, sql,java and python.

I have work in ngo in my hometown after second year which is part of my course as social servant also I have take 2 month online course of phython from programming pathshala which is a certified course. that will help later for my placement and my cse/it job in industry

No college provide placements like companies start visting for placements after third year but you have to work hard to maintain all the criteria and brush up your skills there is no scarcity of opportunities.

Fees and Financial Aid

So my fees is 86000 per semester I have 25 percent scholarship now the fees is increased from this year like 105000 for 3 seater ac room and academics fees is also increased and if you want mess it will around 40 thousand per year

Campus Life

I am no really a social person despite that I sometimes enjoy the college life there is game zone inside our college and personal mall also and many events happens regulary so everyone can enjoy in their own way.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are good like mess food is moderate you can have it on daily basis otherwise there is no need too take mess as there were many food courts in our campus which are good and there are also additional gym and laundry facilities also

Hostel Fee: INR 105000 per year

Admission

Well admisson process is moderate I have done all of my work online as first year of academics was online due to covid but really like the technological approach of college which is advance in comparison to other private colleges.

Faculty here are well qualified mostly and they really work hard. soft skills are really a big part of curriculum and the teachers are also good but some teachers are not good as not in their qualification but they do not know how to make things easy to learn.

supportive campus environment with the comfortable in the classess
faculty most faculty members are very much supportive and they guide the students in the right way only
events are there in the campus provided by the campus.

limited practical exposure is provided by the campus and also there should be more hand on international events

placements at my college are very very good, as everybody gets the chance to sit for the placements at the same level. we get the placement oportunities at the 6th semster also. in my brancg it is very good

A Vibrant Campus with good learning and great opportunities

Likes

good infrastructure , large libraries and practical labs
helpful and large opportunities in campus

class size can be large , it helps every child to interact
academic work is quite high , the schedule may feel hectic especially during examination

75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

I like the most about the college the placement criteria and the way built your confidence
Also the hostel is very good and provide food 4 times
The campus explorer is also very nice according to me

Faculty is not soo well had a lit bit inconvenience
Hostel mess food is not good at some time

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.
