Lovely Professional University

Likes

Things i like about lpu is - its diversity there are peoples from different race and caste
Infrastructure is very cool you will feel like you are in foreign university
Faculty is very helpful in lpu , guide you and teach you very well

Dislikes

Things i dislike is there examination system instead of subjective there is objective exams

Placement Experience:

Placement in lpu is good for computer science student . the highest package is of 1cr which is the highest package ever got in india the average package is 50lpa and lowest is 7 lpa. 90% student gets Placement

All about LPU need to Know.

Likes

The campus is very vast and eco friendly with very nice infrastructure and have the experience in the campus is very nice.
The teaching staff in the university is very experienced and have a good grip on the subject they are teaching. Teachers are very friendly and are always there to clear our doubts.
The placement in the collage are very good. The average package is 12 lpa and the highest package is 64 lpa on campus.

Dislikes

It is a pure veg campus so non vegetarian food is not available you have to go out of the university to eat non veg
The food in the hostel of the university is not liked by everyone it's less in spice and salt
The environment out side the campus is not that good and is not that safe.

Placement Experience:

The placement percentage in the collage is very above 90 % students get placed every year and other students persuade higher studies. The average salary ranging between 8 to 12 lpa and the highest being 64 lpa on campus. There are also placement preparation classes to help you in grabbing a job in campus placements. I plane to get placed in the campus placements.

Likes

There is good skills in teacher and they do best for the students students
There is good environment in this college
They provide best placement for the students

Dislikes

The arrogant behaviour of students with teachers
The senior have do ragging with students in college
Some teachers are strictly action on the bad behaviour with the students

Placement Experience:

Placement in this college are very bad condition. They adopt some company but few students got selected.most of the students are unemployed. They hardly gitve 2 lakh per annum for the job of students.

My college review

Likes

The first thing i like about my college is its green campus the campus is simple beautiful you will get everthing her
Second i would say the facultys are very helpful kind and are friendly as well there style of teaching what i like it help the modern way of teaching like interaction with students havingfun activites related to study is what build the bond
Third i would say the facility it provide u dont need to go outside of college if u want to every single thing is available inside the campus starting from mall, hospital to food court everything are available

Dislikes

The thing that i dislike is that it is has a very heatic scheduled which is very tough for students
The leave policy which is different for night and day like if u have put night leave u can’t come early which is bizzare because what a student will do if his work is over
Third is too much of security which don’t help the student to enjoy their college life

Placement Experience:

Lpu have a very good placement management which ensure that every student sits in placement and try his best to crack the interview many companies like wipro,delloitegoogle microsoft and infosy are the companies that come with many other and if you have a startup idea lpu helps in funding so that you can grow your startup

Raw And Real

Likes

Campus is nice, hostel is decent enough, mess food is decent enough, faculties/teachers mostly are fine
Playgrounds are good, overall sports related things are good.
Swimming pool is also good and food court's food is also good.

Dislikes

As i mentioned above that mess food is decent but in the starting if the session food was actually good
Now this might not everyone mention but my balcony was flooded with pigeon's turd/waste, room cleaning is being done like in every 2 or 3 days
One thing which sometimes i feel annoying is the behaviour of some security guards, they behave like they own you.

Placement Experience:

Placements here are decent like not everyone gets package of more than 15 LPA but not poor also . Form 3rd year students can sit for internships. I think around 1000 companies visit LPU every year but it is total including all the schools inside lpu . Highest on campus is 62 i think and average for btech vse is around 6 to 6.5 LPA.

Brief about the university

Likes

University is very nice beacuse of the exposure
Campus is very beautiful you will enjoy all seasons
Faculties are very supportive not all but they are very nice

Dislikes

Due to big campus you have to walk so much
Hostels fess are very high 1 lakh for a hostel

Placement Experience:

The show 100% placement everywhere like you open site or anything regarding lpu they show 100% placement but i dont think that 100% placement is only from incampus placemnt some of them may be offcampus to but yes there placements are very nice

LPU IS NICE

Likes

The college atmosphere is good and the nature around the college is cool .
In winter , the college seems very cool and we can enjoy a lot in different parks inside the university
Every morning snd evening any time you can go to college ground and you can play different types of games eith different types of people

Dislikes

Mainly the faculty , the faculty doesnt teaches about much and say , you want to learn only
The security guards are every where and if you did a small mistake also they will keep unfair means caseall mistake then they will ke
Specifically the summer and winter conditions in the campus are very hard and it is big campus

Placement Experience:

Yeah there is broad placement in our campus big bif companies like amazon , Google etc visit our campus and select students from various courses like cse , ece etc but only thing Is avg package is 5 to 6 lacks and highest package is 3 crore , 40 percent of students got placement after completing the degree I will go to do M.tech

Lovely professional university is a Vibrant academic Institutions that excel in Providing holistic, educational experience
Overall Lpu provides A dynamic holistic Enriching educational experience Lpu is truly stand for higher studies

Dislikes

Class size is something we can say I Dislike about Lpu Because students are much and Class sizes small so suffocation is happen in class.
For some international students, there is culture Adjustment problems.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good and help you usually people get 10 to 12 LPA by doing degree of BBA and for like BTech it will go around 7 to 20 lakhs minimum but in few cases people will not get placement due to their academic records. People get reappeared backlog then they don't get placements but those who are good in study those were good in education. They will get placement easily and help you YasirM got a 300,00,000 package from Lpu and from BTech degree, and it is great for me like having this kind of Placement

The all over review of Lovely professional university

Likes

The hostel security is too good in every hostel we have turnstile gate if car is too important for every student
The teaching style of this college is good also in every 2 month we have career counselling sessions
In this collage cigarette smoking alcohol and any addictive substance is banned if found you may be suspended

Dislikes

Classes are to much like we have classes upto 9 to 5 even we have to go class in Saturday
The minimum attendance is 75% but if you have some medical issues the authority will not give you any grievances
The college drainage system is not too good so small amount of rainfall may cause water stuck

Placement Experience:

From the 2 sem students can opt for internships and from the 3 year students can sit for placements There are many Manx came for campus placements like google mirosoft Flipkart Amazon cognisant also tcs qutar airways and many more I can say 70 % student are getting placed My plan is to sit for gate the join any iit

I completed BTech CSE from LPU back in 2016. You might say that LPU has changed since then, but I am still in touch with my juniors and here is my experience:

Placements: More than 550+ MNCs and startups visit the LPU campus for placement. In recent news, Yasir M., student of LPU, grabbed an offer of INR 3 crore in Germany. The highest CTC offered for the engineering programs at LPU is INR 42 LPA.
Scholarships: People might think LPU is pricey since it is a private colleges, but LPU provides scholarships to bright students with good academic records, good track record in sports, or extracurricular activities. LPU also helps students in the education loan facility.
Research: In terms of research, Stanford University has ranked almost 13 LPU faculty members amongst the top 2% of scientists in the world.
Faculty: The faculty members are from top institutes like IITs, NITs, IIMs, and top-ranked universities globally.

I am a BTech Mechanical graduate from LPU. Here is an honest review on the placement scenario at LPU (in engineering)-

The placement scenario is poor for Civil, Mechanical and Electrical. Few companies visit these departments for placements, and hire a maximum of 5-10 students in total. But if someone knows basic coding, they can sit for IT placements.

Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, etc. visit the CSE/IT departments for mass hiring. Very few core companies visit the ECE department for recruitments, so the students rely on IT companies. A mere 40/50 out of 1000 ECE students get hired by an Electronics company from the campus. The IT companies mass hire students at a CTC of around 3.5 LPA.

This is the engineering placement scenario at LPU.

Being a graduate from LPU, I found the campus life quite joyful as everyone in the university is supportive. I liked the following things about the University:
