LPU BALLB {Hons.} : Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Admission to Lovely Professional University (LPU) in 2016 required qualifying through the LPU NEST exam and achieving a certain percentage in the 12th grade. The university offers a user-friendly online management system (UMS) for students to handle academic tasks and file complaints, which are addressed within 24 hours. With 20 professors, including a department head with 15 years of experience, the faculty is noted for being qualified and supportive. LPU conducts two main exams, MTE and ETE, and has strict evaluation standards.

The fee structure is flexible, with the standard fee being 70,000 INR per semester, reducible to 60,000 INR with scholarships. Over five years, total expenses, including hostel and exam fees, are approximately 4 lakhs INR. In 2020, 635 companies visited for placements, but only 192 offered packages over 5 lakh INR annually. Cognizant offered the most placements, and the highest package was 1 crore INR, while the average was around 6 lakh INR.

Approximately 75% of students secured jobs with firms like Google and Amazon. For the B.A. LLB program, the fee is 79,500 INR per semester, but can be reduced to 46,500 INR with scholarships based on academic and entrance exam performance. Scholarships can reduce fees by up to 50%, and a 35% scholarship is available for high 10th-grade marks. The university assures no fee hikes during the course and provides various on-campus job opportunities.

International students have a base fee of 1,20,000 INR per semester, with scholarships available based on performance. A 100% scholarship, covering full tuition and hostel accommodation, is offered for high LPUNEST scores or exceptional academic performance. Internships are available early in the course, offering roles like assistant lawyers and legal advisors, along with opportunities to work with NGOs and legal authorities.
