Lovely Professional University: Review

Likes

I like the campus very much it is very big
I like how faculty is so supportive in every manner
I also like that their are so many people from different states and country to make a friends with

Dislikes

I highly disliked the marking system of University
I highly disliked the exam system of University
I highly disliked about University is that they don't celebrate more cultural festival

Curriculum of my course is really good. As our university have added many extra classes that enhance our skills that programms are communication skills, soft skills and program orientation and many more.

Great learning experience with best campus life

LPU updates its syllabus every year based on industry demands which i liked about it very much. For example as AI is in demand, LPU added a new course Gen-AI in our syllabus considering the industry needs.
Faculties are highly qualified. Most og the faculties have done PhD in their subject and are available to you at any time through messaging app created by LPU itself
Focus on practical learning is more than theoretical learning. Most of the star courses are conducted in practical approach so that we can apply the learnings in day to day life

Dislikes

Too much intake. In our batch we have almost 5000-6000 students just for B.Tech CSE course and such is the intake for other courses too which results in too much crowd and competition
Residential facilities are too costly. I paid 1,10,000 rs for a 4 seater AC room inside campus. The campus is very clean but surroundings are very dirty so staying inside the campus is the only option left.
A special case called UMC can be filed against you if you are involved in any activity which LPU feels is not good. If UMC is filed against you, your scholarship is withdrawn immediately which I feel is very strict

Placement Experience:

Placement cell of LPU is quite good. Management brings almost 500 companies every year which shows that they provide opportunity to students, now it's upto the students that how they grab this opportunity. One of the LPU Allumini backed a package of 3 cr annually at zoom. Ofcourse it was off campus but LPU takes pride in it. Speaking about on campus placements, as far as I know, many students have backed packages upto 60 laks per annum in top companies like google, amazon, Accenture etc. LPU provides students with additional PEP classes in which they groom you for the interviews well before the actual placement drives which enhances your chances of getting a good package. My plan is to take on job taining after 3rd year and getting a ppo from the same company

All about LPU

Likes

I like how huge and beautiful the campus is.
The faculty and student interaction is smooth.
They provide mentor for each and every student in the uni.

Dislikes

Sometimes things are one way and there is nobody to listen to you.
There is a lot of study pressure they put on the students.
Teachers are very much authoritative that's not good.

Placement Experience:

Placements are pretty good in the college as many companies like Amazon, Google, Flipkart, Microsoft, etc. visits the university. It depends on you that how much skills you have and if you can grab a good placement of not.

The class rooms are very big and have more ventilation and good environment and lots of events takes place every day at college and sports events and ceremonies and skill development courses the university ha more space that that gives peace

Dislikes

There is nothing to dislike about college

The faculty are very friendly and not at all rigid in behaviour they may not give you all information but ya we have liberty to question through feedbacks
RMS this is especially a tool for hostlers and this RMS works very accurate to don your repair works and also room cleaning is also very flexible
The environment is anti ragging and eco friendly campus with e vehicles and full greenary and

Dislikes

College timings for ba we don't have 9 to 5 classes but these are continuous classes which makes trouble to go back hostel and again come for classes
The rush hour at evening 5 oo God there are many students who comes from their blocks complete rush
The CA and gamification activities that are in ba course very hectic to manage everything thing

They said there are placements for ba course rather than placements we can also have made our cv for future jobs there is very much encouragement for students whose are doing internship and any earning side business percentage means it like first serve basis but Max can be get placed the packages offering are 60,000 to 1 lakh for ba students My plans is to appear for upsc exam if not I apply for HR role in Google or Microsoft companies

All about lovely professional University

Likes

Good infrastructure in the campus greenery
Discipline is there fine is charged if you do anything wrong
Drugs free campus no cigrate no alcohol nothing

Dislikes

Too much crowded they take too much admission
Not qualified teachers no practical knowledge
Girls to boy ratio is very less for btech cse 1:10

From 6th semester students become eligible for placements companies visited are mostly startups and mass recruiter highest package is 64 lpa and average package is 7.5lpa and percentage of students getting placements is 60%

My journey with LPU

Likes

Course is designed carefully accordance with industry requirements
They provide you everything for your betterment
There are lot of cultural activities many celebratir come to perform or fir promotions many events are there

Dislikes

Very crowded there almost 8000 students in my batch for cse
They keep you busy at all times like you have per subject 3 or 4 exams apart from mid term and end term
Very less holidays compared to other universities

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem students start to sit for placements Highest package is of 2 cr which is reflected on their website and avg package is of around 5 lpa Placement percentage is around 90 I am thinking of taking placement in the campus itself

I like the campus life most, LPU has the best campus life
I like the course structure and study materials they provide you can learn extra things as well
Faculty members are highly qualified and teaches in the best way they can.

Dislikes

The campus is too big you have to walk to much.
I don`t like placements because you can`t focus on the studies and learning if you took placements

Placement Experience:

At LPU, students can take advantage of placement services with a one-time payment of ?10,000. This includes additional training sessions beyond regular academics, specifically aimed at building the skills needed for placements. Students become eligible for placements from the middle of the 2nd semester, which gives them plenty of time to prepare and work on their professional skills. LPU has a strong placement record with many well-known companies visiting campus, such as TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, and Capgemini. The highest packages offered can reach impressive numbers, especially in top tech roles, while the average package for most students is quite competitive compared to other private universities. The exact figures for the highest and average packages can vary each year, but they typically provide a decent return on investment for students. A large percentage of students secure jobs through campus placements, thanks to the university's extensive company network and support services. My own plan after graduation is to land a good job in the tech field, and I feel that the skills and support from LPU will help me reach that goal.

Safety is good. Guards always there so no one can misbehave with you.
Hostel facility is also good. Friendly warden. And friendly environment.
If i talk about education..also all the teachers is very supportive and friendly. And well educated.

Dislikes

They don't allow to celebrate festival with joy.

Teacher method are good but if we talk about exam there is so many CA's and along with mid term and end term ...if they want to take ca they should also make a routine for that because any teacher can take their CA any time so that ifyou have 2 or 3 Ca in a single you didn't get enough time for the preparation.

A comprehensive review of my college experience

Likes

Faculty is knowledgeable and supportive ,encourage to explore and understand concepts deeply.
Curriculum is designed in auch a way that it is both challenging and relevant which prepares us for the real world applications.
Campus facilities are up to date and also campus events are top notch, helping us to explore our creative side too.

Dislikes

Workload can be intense at times and some administrative processes like scheduling or approvals could be more streamlined
While there are several clubs and events ,opportunities for personal development couls be expanded to help students.
Hostel food is not so good and also very expensive which can be taken care of

Placement Experience:

placements at lpu are quite promising ,with a well organised placement cell that activelt connects the students with leading companies in the country.Each year a diverse range of recruiters visit or campus,offering roles in various fields.

I completed BTech CSE from LPU back in 2016. You might say that LPU has changed since then, but I am still in touch with my juniors and here is my experience:

Placements: More than 550+ MNCs and startups visit the LPU campus for placement. In recent news, Yasir M., student of LPU, grabbed an offer of INR 3 crore in Germany. The highest CTC offered for the engineering programs at LPU is INR 42 LPA.
Scholarships: People might think LPU is pricey since it is a private colleges, but LPU provides scholarships to bright students with good academic records, good track record in sports, or extracurricular activities. LPU also helps students in the education loan facility.
Research: In terms of research, Stanford University has ranked almost 13 LPU faculty members amongst the top 2% of scientists in the world.
Faculty: The faculty members are from top institutes like IITs, NITs, IIMs, and top-ranked universities globally.

I am a BTech Mechanical graduate from LPU. Here is an honest review on the placement scenario at LPU (in engineering)-

The placement scenario is poor for Civil, Mechanical and Electrical. Few companies visit these departments for placements, and hire a maximum of 5-10 students in total. But if someone knows basic coding, they can sit for IT placements.

Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, etc. visit the CSE/IT departments for mass hiring. Very few core companies visit the ECE department for recruitments, so the students rely on IT companies. A mere 40/50 out of 1000 ECE students get hired by an Electronics company from the campus. The IT companies mass hire students at a CTC of around 3.5 LPA.

This is the engineering placement scenario at LPU.

Being a graduate from LPU, I found the campus life quite joyful as everyone in the university is supportive. I liked the following things about the University:
