Likes

The infrastucture is top notch, no compromises on that
the campus life is vibrant and pleasing.
Couples can roam freely and lots of events happens inside the campus

Dislikes

The blocks are a lot far away so we might need to walk a lot
The lab services arent well managed and upto the mark
The campus is a lot crowded as it is too big

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is industry oriented and well updated. The syllabus prepares the students for proper placements. The career pathway makes the difference to choose a course. Improvement should me made for the students that want to pursue higher studies instead of placements.

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid yearly 2,40,000 INR as tution fees Registration and admission fees was 10,000 and health insurance fees was 3500 per year. For any major UMC(Universityu Means Case) one need to pay a fine of 3000 and if there was any indiciplinary action fot that uni would charge a fine of 100 for the first time and increasing respectively

Campus Life

The campus life in LPU is pleasing and full of fun. There is a separate Division of Student welfare wing for events and organizational activities. The library is massive and all sort of books are available there. There is a separate MAC lab as well in the library. All kinds of other Google lab, Texas Instrument Lab, Innovation Studio are also available in the campus

Admission

I didnt applied for any other college. I was pleased by the campus infrastructure and directly applied fot the admission in LPU. I didn't regret joining LPU as i had a pleasing campus life that i would cheer all my life.

Faculty

The teachers quality is average. Faculty to student ratio is like 1:70. The marking system doesnt has a problem at all. Every marks from the beginning to the end of semester accumulates and becomes the final mark. This includes Attendence marks 5, 20 for midterm, 25 for CA's and 50 for endterm

Night Life

The night life for girls inside campus is a lil strict but thats good. The boys inside campus can easily enjoy outdoor games as well and roam here and there easily. The campus life outside LPU is open to everything without any restrictions.

LPU Jalandhar is a nest!

Placement Experience:

Over a crore package too have been inked form LPU, CSE and that itself is more than enough to justify my call to Study here. Highest package was of 1.03 crores and average still stands at 8 lakhs around. The big thing is nearly 2500 students in CSE and still all are finding a shot to try for placements.

LPU has no errors!

Placement Experience:

Mid cap to large cap, every company that can afford our students services are invited to our university for hiring students. Thus far nearly 500 organizations have been invited to our university and a good bit of placements percentage is also there. No students of our university recruited have come under fire and therefore the companies which have laid faith in LPU students have kept hiring year after year.

Like at IET

Course Curriculum Overview:

I went for CSe bcz it has best career scope. The curriculum is comprehensive but a bit heavy. It touches almost all topics but didn't go deep into latest tech like AI or Cloud computing, which was a drawback. Improvements? Definitely the teaching style. Some profs are good but many rush through the syllabus to finish it. They should include more project based learning instead of just theory exams. Exams are manageable. We have typical sem system. Timing is predictable but sometimes the schedule is very tight with no gaps between papers. Difficulty wise its okay, most students study a week before exams and manage to clear them.

Hustle and Memory I'll always cherish

Placement Experience:

As I mentioned this college is new and they have no past data to show about their placement but they have good tie up with some of the giants of industry including IBM and when their SME comes to provide lectures ut really boosts your energy and motivation. But still there can't be any assurance of placement as of now untill our batch get placed successfully

My Journey and experience at my College

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate and usually starts from the 7th Semester . A few Service based Companies visit with average packages of 3-4 Lpa . Around 40 - 50 % students get placed. I plan to upskill and pursue higher studies or better job opportunities

LPU is indeed a professional university!

Placement Experience:

Around 600 recruiters so far has hired students from LPU. Not just domestic but even international names have hired students from LPU. So, I don't think one even has to look beyond LPU for that matter. I am happy that students from here have got the opportunity to work in their dream companies and soon I will be giving interviews as I am also in my final year now.

Placement Experience:

from 6 semester only students are getting placed in most companies like tcs,visa.TCS every year they make 300-400 offers and famous companies like visa do in less count like 10-50 and the average package is 6 LPA and the highest package is 30-40 LPA.60-70% of students are getting placed every year.my plan is to earn a job after the degree and grow there

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

Placement Experience:

On campus Placements are average here. The highest package goes to 19 lakhs and Average package is 3-4 lakhs per annum. However we can not expect any MNC to visit this campus but the companies for freshers and to gain experience visit the campus.

i didn't applied to any other college but my friends wrote the other entrance exams like srm and after getting the result and scholarship we campared the fee structure and facilities providing by the universities we thought that my university is better than those in every aspect. coming to the admission process you have to write an college entrance exam and you will get scholarship based on those marks and the eligibilty is 60% in 10th and 12th board to write that entrance exam....Read More
