Lovely Private less academic more social University

To be honest I wanted admission In IIM indore for the course of integrated BBA-MBA but i missed the Ipmat exam by just 3 perecnetile LPU was always my second option and i went with that anyways one thing i liked about this course is duration as it ends in 4 years which saves one precious year of life which influenced me because saving in an extra year that too in graduation is really helpful you get both bachelors and masters degree together combined. I already mentioned the courses name in first sem they were just revison of subjects of class 11 and 12 commerce nothing elso also here they conduct a lot of class tests almost oncs in a week i really don't like it you have to give so many tests in a week and if you don't end up well teachers taunt you. Still i read here subjects change after every sem and in next sem we will have some spreadsheet modellibg course and also statistics that is good because we'll learn something new and not just something I read in class 11 and 12th . Also one should know usage of Ms office because all the assignments provided in 1 sem where to presented in document ppt and detailed report had to be made so knowing ms office is mandatory to comply with assignments. Still it's too early to rate ther course as I've only spent 6 months here what if in next sem faculties are very good

The per sem fee structure in our college for integrated BBA-MBA is 120000 excluding scholarships . I applied for scholarships there are three tiers of scholarships students can avail according to their score in Lpunest exam i cleared tier 3 scholarship and my fees is 98400 per sem if you apply for the lpunest exam earlier then the scholarship amount is higher in my opinion if you want to appear in lpunest try to give it in march aur april as maximum scholarship is available.See if you clear tier 3 scholarship 18% amount is deducted tier 2 then 28 and tier 1 then 50% fees per sem. My batchmates most of them have tier 2 scholarship and they are paying somewhere around 80 or 90k you can also get scholarship from your class 10 or class 12 result if you have more than 90% in both you get 30% scholarship automatically.The application fee is deducted from sem fees it not charged and sem fees is 4500 and they also charge 16000 for career services placement to be taken in first year itself.

If we keep the academics part aside and you are coming to this college with the puspose of enjoyment and just want degree then this is the best college for you it has got laods of fests functions programs extracurricular activities and also best sports fields a lot of athletes complete their course here and train in the grounds of Lpu with thier coaches and this college will take you to further to state and national level in any sports if you excel in that. I mean it has a dedicated cricket and football ground even hockey kho kho basket ball rugby even baseball almost each sport is played here. There is huge swimming pool also with personal instructors of course you have to pay for all of this separately it is not included in the fees but it is world class.Lpu is known for hosting cultural fests and people from all over India and globe reside here spreading their culture and tradition. You'll see a new function here in every 2 days also they have e-sports competition also with prizes upto 100000 . Many concerts happen here recently paradox visited and now anuv jain will come even diljit dosanjh and stand up comedians like anubhav sing bassi have performed in lpu. Coming to library part all books of your course are available in abundance and each building here have a dedicated library aligned with course student can issue books upto 7 days using their ID cards.A lot of newspaper journals and other kind of books are also available we also have e-library .

See after I faced rejection in IIM Indore I juggled a lot of colleges on the web and shortlisted 3 colleges which were providing this course Upes Dehradun Doon business school Lovely Professional University I did'nt choose Upes because fees was really high there almost 29 lakhs excluding living costs Fees of Lpu and Doon were almost same 12 lakh including living costs but I did'nt choose Doon becuase I got some recommendations from ex-alumni there and they suggested me to stay away from that college as It was really bad in terms of academics and placements. When I talked to ex-alumni of Lpu they presented a straight argument that college will bring companies it is their job you have to survive here stay ahead of competition and get good grades and If you do you'll succeed they also mentioned many flaws about university but I crosschecked all the pros and cons and finally took decision . I filled appliaction for this in May 2024 and took the lpunest by paying 1500 fees then i passes it with tier-3 scholarship making my fees 98400 from 120000 I have to mention this point that the support staff of Lpu is world class they respond to every email and call you give them about query and their team will help you throughout the admission process

The faculty to student ratio is 1:60 and as I have mentioned I did'nt like the faculty to that extent as their methods of teaching where really boring they just come and start reading ppt's and leave no proper methodology of teaching was there also some of them were rude and were providing attendance as if it were some kind of donation.In total we had 6 courses in first sem which is over now the courses were Financial accounting , English , Environmental studies , Business economics , Business org and managemnet and Career planning . The marks for each course are divided as Attendance - 5marks Assignments - 25 marks Midterm exam - 20 marks End term exam - 50 marks In total 2 assignment are taken in one semester and best score out of that is uploaded. I did'nt like the faculty of Business org , accounts and evs because their teaching methods were too boring and basic. The best faculty we had was of carrer planning Dr Anoop mohanty taught that he was one of the best teachers I had ever interacted with his methods were brilliant and his attitude as teacher was very frank I really enjoyed his class and honestly had 100% attendance in that course. Rest of faculties were not upto his level of teaching and just relied on ppt's

See all the classes are over till 5pm and the day scholars can stay in campus upto 6pm. I have said ot earlier if you are coming here for enjoyment this is must for you. I mean there almost 500 food stalls in the entire campus 2 large gyms 1 large cafe an entire robo park where there are cool lighting surrounded by trees and garden. Even the playground of football cricket are open till 11pm and the indoor sports complex is great for badminton and tennis .Outside there are brilliant places to visit there is a place called oakland where there are cool places to eat and hangout with friends also in front of the college there is train station chiheru so if we want o go somewhere quicks trains are available and buses are available every minute. I mean what elso do you want almost a world is built inside in so in terms of campus life this college is great. Also food stalls are categorised for south Indians there are seperate pan asian and almost all cusines are available here except nonveg
