Scholarships were available to students who scored first few ranks in the entrance exams, which were a great deal of help to them also, there are internships available through our mentors which is of great help.
Faculty are very good they teach well and they are very experienced with experience of 20 years, and fests happens every month and facilities are very good here like gym gardens library etc and place is very good
There are so many clubs like dance club, science club, maths club, etc and main beauty of the campus are very green and freedom of entry and exit anytime.

Dislikes

Firstly conduction of the entrance was very poor by nta.
At last the canteens. the foods of the canteens are ok but sometimes it too worst
I had a plan to do phd too but due to the academic stress and low facilities that this university is providing, i started to lose my interest on the subject.

Life in Pu

Likes

It's a green campus around 900 acres. From my experience the department of psychology is good. We have experienced facilities. For me the department helped me in my personal growth. The class timings are till noon . It's very easy to score good marks
The syllabus is revised and updated. We have two internship one in summer and one during 4th semester. 4th semester is completely free only internship and desseration.
The campus is student friendly. The library and reading room is very helpful for the students.

Dislikes

The main problem in the campus is transportation. The transportation through the university is limited and there is enough facilities. All the buses crowded it's very dangerous.
The food quality is very bad in the hostel mess. Most of the time the food will be half cooked or salty. Two tea shops opened till midnight in the university, but it's very expensive
The administration is not providing enough facilities to the students. There is no summer vacations. This time we only got 1 week summer vaccinatio.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus was updated on 2019. The course is more application level. The exams are conducted in proper manner. We will get the result within one week. The semester are only 3 months it's hectic for the students and teachers.

The campus is very vast, approximately 800 acres.
Its a very different experience studying in a central university.
The atmosphere and surroundings of the campus is very beautiful.

Dislikes

The academics is average to below average.
The faculty is not the most motivated to help the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus is very light for applied psychology in this university. There are only 3 semesters which have written exams. The last semester is just project and viva.One factor i liked about the curriculum is that in the third semester we can choose our specialty based on our interests.there are 3 options counselling clinical and industrial psychology.

My perceptions of PU

Likes

Night walks and vast stundent community provides various learning opportunities
Exposure to various cultures and top notch faculties and availability of national and international seminars
Free bus services for students back and froth

Dislikes

Bus is only available at the time of breaks, 3 times a day. Other occasions you have to walk
Student strength in a class is very high and hence care get to the individual student will be less.
Syllabus of the course can be improved and prctical exposure can be provided

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since this is a central university it will provide a chance to study children across india which will improve your communication skills and socializing skills and get to work with top notch faculty. The curriculum covers almost every aspects but little more exposure in the field is required. They can avoid topics covered in degree level and should include more high level topics and shoud provide more real world exposure. Teaching methods are quite good but can include more case studies. Exams will be held in each semester and therefore students will get enough time to prepare and have a moderate level questions.

I Have complited my MBA from Distance in year 2021 but i received mu mark sheet and certificate with wrone name. Insted of my name they have put my father's name. So even after sending mails of like 26 times and sending DD of Rs 1100/- they have not done anything and there is no reply in mail and no one oiks up the call. I am so frustrated and loosing hope. I really dont know when this will be corrected..
