Likes
- It's a green campus around 900 acres. From my experience the department of psychology is good. We have experienced facilities. For me the department helped me in my personal growth. The class timings are till noon . It's very easy to score good marks
- The syllabus is revised and updated. We have two internship one in summer and one during 4th semester. 4th semester is completely free only internship and desseration.
- The campus is student friendly. The library and reading room is very helpful for the students.
Dislikes
- The main problem in the campus is transportation. The transportation through the university is limited and there is enough facilities. All the buses crowded it's very dangerous.
- The food quality is very bad in the hostel mess. Most of the time the food will be half cooked or salty. Two tea shops opened till midnight in the university, but it's very expensive
- The administration is not providing enough facilities to the students. There is no summer vacations. This time we only got 1 week summer vaccinatio.
Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus was updated on 2019. The course is more application level. The exams are conducted in proper manner. We will get the result within one week. The semester are only 3 months it's hectic for the students and teachers.
Fees and Financial Aid
The courses are little expensive compared to other central University. There is scholarship for the students who get highest marks in the semester. But students are not getting the scholarship. The charge fee for placements. There is no placement happening in the university.
Campus Life
The university is culturally diverse so every festival we celebrate in the university. Also for some department they have annual programs. Also every year we have hostel day with so many competitions. The library is good but the resources are not that good. We two outdoor stadium and 1 indoor stadium.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel are allotted after our documents verification. Basically the rooms are designed for 2 persons. But now it's three persons in a room. Rooms are conjusted. We have two fan, two cupboards in the room. The mess food is not good everyday its not cooked properly. The quality is very low. Easily we can find rooms outside the university but it's also little expensive.
Admission
The Admission happened through CUET entrance exam conducted by NTA. After the result you should apply to the university manually. They will publish admission details in the website. After the application they will release provisional list. If you're selected pay the fee and secure seats. You must have minimum 55% in ug to get admission. For some course you have to do the ug in the subject it's self
Faculty
The classes are crowded. its about 75 in our class and only 5 faculties. It's difficult for them to manage this much student. The teaching is good they teaches in simple language so every can understand and they available in the department.
