Curriculum in pondicherry University is research and methodology based rather than studying only about the theory aspect. As I'm from microbiology our curriculum is based on the practical works needs to do in any specific field rather than studying about bacteria, fungi etc. we study not only about disease but how to identify and diagnose the disease too.. In every way the curriculum is best for our future

College recommends students to go for internship outside for credits and it should be related to subject. If the faculty is okay we can do internship below them too. Internship is not compulsory for every department

Placements will began after your 2nd semester. Science students will not have placement. They will have training to clear csir jrf. Management students have placements with annual package around 10 lakhs

Fee differs for each course. 4 semester so we have to pay fee for each semester. For life sciences fee will be around 30,000 per year and hostel cost around 20,000 per year. All the state scholarship can be availed from the institute. The institute is providing scholarship for all the top ranked students.. For PhD if your cleared csir / dbt you will get stipend mentioned in csir /jrf and if you didn't you get around 8,000 per month as stipend for 4 years

Each department celebrates their department fest in a massive manner. Their will be hostel day celebration, Holi, Pongal , diwali celebration too. You have access to journals and you can download them too. Every classroom have a projector screen.

Hostel room will have 2 to 3beds , two writing table , 2 cupboards and 12 selfes and fan light etc.. hostel menu will be like a timetable once you pass a week you will what they will serve when.. hostel food is not that good. Hostel admission is not a big process. You have to get application from your department, pay the fees and get the room from hostel office

50%in Ug and clearing cuet is the eligibility and the admission process is online based. Based on the cut off and your community you will get admission. Here they will release 3 merit list and after that spot admission will be held

Faculty in pondicherry University has well qualified. They are also doing research while teaching too that provides insight for the students in which field they are working. Faculty share their experience about their work all the time to keep us updated about the new things happening around us and we have full freedom to talk with about curriculum and about our field of interest anytime
