Scholarships were available to students who scored first few ranks in the entrance exams, which were a great deal of help to them also, there are internships available through our mentors which is of great help.
Faculty are very good they teach well and they are very experienced with experience of 20 years, and fests happens every month and facilities are very good here like gym gardens library etc and place is very good
There are so many clubs like dance club, science club, maths club, etc and main beauty of the campus are very green and freedom of entry and exit anytime.

Dislikes

Firstly conduction of the entrance was very poor by nta.
At last the canteens. the foods of the canteens are ok but sometimes it too worst
I had a plan to do phd too but due to the academic stress and low facilities that this university is providing, i started to lose my interest on the subject.

All about Pondicherry University

Likes

The university campus is worth studying for indulging in nature and a peaceful environment.
The facilities are great here, they have library, reading halls, canteen, engineering wing, placement wing, nss, ncc and much more.
You can have great exposure to different kind culture and traditions and it accommodate various students from various regions

Dislikes

Still it needs regular maintenance and need for more buildings
Some professors and scholars are not fit to be reached here and still they opt this place
One major drawback is the location of the University as it is present in the outskirts of the Pondicherry

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose Ba. BEd. history because it has professional value and also helps int he upsc exams. The curriculum revolves around practical work such as in history we learn about museums, epigraphys, manuscript and also world history which gives us a upper hand in practical work. As for bed we cover basic pedagogy, psychology and teacher development and also practical sessions, Currently there is no need in any change as it already covers both practical and theoretical domains. The frequency of exam is vast and difficulty level is medium it would be great if there is a little gap between papers

I Have complited my MBA from Distance in year 2021 but i received mu mark sheet and certificate with wrone name. Insted of my name they have put my father's name. So even after sending mails of like 26 times and sending DD of Rs 1100/- they have not done anything and there is no reply in mail and no one oiks up the call. I am so frustrated and loosing hope. I really dont know when this will be corrected..
