The main reason I decided to choose this course is the curiosity for ocean. From childhood onwards ocean was one of the curious thing for me. The syllabus was good but field experience was very low. And as a marine biologist scuba as a part of syllabus is good I guess. For the further academic studies the course help me to know more about the behind things of ocean as well as how ocean management is important for the survival of the environment. The exam pattern include 2 internals for each subject and the main exam is for 80 marks and the time period is 3hrs

Marine Biology is being a more relavant course nowadays. I consider field work amd experience as important aspect for marine biologist. University provide oppurtunity to explore the ocean up to an extant other than other universities.

The course Master of Science in Marine biology offers you the vast studies of ocean.The first sem will get you adapted to the studies as it comprises Physical Oceanography, Chemical Oceanography, Biological Oceanography and Marine ecology. The course comprises four semesters with practical and theory exams and an individual project at last exams. The course can improve in the sense that it should include more field studies rather than classroom studies and exams and breaks should be given accordingly.

Curriculum of this course is very good the syllabus includes all the topics one need to know about marine environments and also the exposure is really nice .Here they are preparing for real world.To improve department include more practical works like field trips and sampling procedure with every students.Syllabus is understanding and exams are simple and fully inside syllabus

I am a person who loves the sea and ocean so I really wanted to study more about the sea, that's why I mainly choose this course. The course has various opportunities. After completing the course you can go for PhD by clearing JRF or you can opt teaching and also you can work and research in various Marine institutes all over the world. Don't expect the faculties to spoon feed you, it is PG and you need to do your things and prepare notes

The college facilities is Average in my opinion. The faculty and academics and lab facilities are good. But every coin has two different sides. Being an off campus we are neglected by the main campus and don't get many facilities we are paying for.

My review is quite average. In case of academic my colleges is quite good. But every coin has two sides. Being a off campus we are neglected by the main campus and don't get some of the facilities we have paid for. Noone is allowed outside the hostel after 10pm.

It is located in port Blair, the capital city of the Andaman Islands. Apart from being extremely good for sight seeing,the college encourages us to go out & explore the area as my field of study requires first hand experience.
