- Strong faculty: vssut is reputed for its experienced faculty members who are often experts in their respective fields.
- The college also organises fest which also is a good source of enjoyment and bliss.
- Campus employment opportunities are quite good.vssut provide internship opportunities along with good support from professors also.scholarship facilities are also provided for reserved castes and for general category also who are eligible.
Dislikes
- Hostel facilities are not so good and the food is also of low quality which is very difficult to eat.
- The hostel and mess. there is corruption in the mess. the mess secretaries are given money to stop students for complaining.
- The conditions of mess and hostel have been worse and it's been degrading day by day. this could have been better.

No I am all set about our college there is nothing us going to say as negative but one thing i can say that if our college is close campus then we will feel good students reletion will be strong there and the feels of close campus is very good.

It is good but not that upto the mark. The reason why I am saying this because the course curriculum should be changed according to the need of market. You should learn subjects that really matters and practical knowledge is completely unavoidable. But course & exam structure are old but not bad at all.

College is surrounded by beautiful nature. 7-8 km from college is Hirakud Dam which is the longest Earthen dam in Asia. The Place Burla which college is located is away from traffic and city chaos and is very peaceful place to roam around for getting peace of mind.

Vssut burla provide a great environment to learn and grow, it teaches us about life.Burla is a place filled with psu and natural beauty, you can find greenery every where around you, it is small town still has many prominent educational institution like IIM SAMBALPUR, SAMBALPUR UNIVERSITY,VIMSAR(MEDICAL COLLEGE).

College is good but better maintenance and administration required to make it a top class university in India. Better faculties from IITs and top universities are required. This college has produced many renowned persons of india previously. Only negative is the infrastructure it a bit old.

Positive -
Infrastructure has improved drastically.
Safety is much better now.
Girls have better hours of stay outside hostels after college.
Student activities have improved.
Negative-
Faculties need to be improved judging on the basis of teaching skills.
evry single fund by ugc should be properly utilised though after 2016 new VP has actually worked on it really well.But during my time things were not so..

Best college of Odisha in terms of infrastructure, faculties, fee structure, curriculum, sports, hygiene, lab facilities and quality of food in the hostels. If you get a chance to study in this college, don't think twice and just grab this opportunity with both hands.

Here is a detailed review of the Electrical Engineering Department of VSSUT Burla based on my friend experience who is an alumnus of the same
- VSSUT is among the top colleges in the state and Electrical Engineering is one of the best branches.
- The branch offers a tremendous learning scope with decent lab facilities.
- The branch has a decent number of permanent faculty.
- VSSUT placement scenario however is not that good although it’s better compared to other top colleges in the state.
- The M.Tech students are asked to supervise labs which isn’t a good practice because they are mostly fresh out of engineering colleges and lack expectations
Electrical Engineering from VSSUT is a good choice if you are interested in the field and are willing to invest extra effort in your studies.
