- Infrastructure; KIIT has a really amazing campus and allows students to take full advantage of all the state of art facilities the campus provides.
- Course curriculum; the curriculum is well rounded and facilitates learning in an efficient and integrated manner.
- Social life; You get to meet a diverse range of people who inculcate a sense of self in the students.
Dislikes
- Student-Teacher relationship is not the best. The college needs to inculcate practices that bridges the gap between mentors and students.
- Placements get stressful because of lack of proper structure and communication.
- Hostel food can see a lot of improvement both in terms of quality and variety.
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for campus placements from around the 5th semester. Many companies offer internship opportunities with a performance-based PPO conversion to students in the pre-final year/final year. Proper campus placements happen to start 6th sem.
- A number of companies come to KIIT including Amazon, TESCO, Nvidia, Walmart, TCS, EY, PWC, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture and others.
The highest package in my batch was 40LPA and was offered to a couple of my batchmates by TESCO. The average package for my batch was around 7LPA. A good percentage of students got placed. I am currently employed in Pwc (Campus Placed) after getting my degree.

- Sports facilities are too good includes synthetic tracks, many swimming pools, cricket grounds, badminton court, volleyball court, hockey ground and many other things.This year many athletes from KiiT went to Paris Olympics 2024
- Management doesn't comes in between couples even when you are in campus. Seen many things here ifykyk
- Here marks are not just based on what you write on paper. It is also based on labs and classes you attend.
Dislikes
- As like any other private college too many students especially in CSE and some professors are good some are always in badlapur mode.
- Can't take leave otherwise it will disrupt your marks and defaulter class is only one per subject.
- Facilities provided to girls are better than boys for same fees. Especially for mess, menu of girls is far better than boys. In campus bus services is provided only to girls even if it raining which is very unpredictable here in Bhubaneswar.
Placement Experience:
Students from the 4th year become eligible for placement and for internship, we are eligible for 3rd year. As I am in 1st year I don't know about that much exact status of placement. My plan is to prepare for IES if I don't get a good placement from the college.

- College is overcrowded and majority people are boring
- Subjects that are not useful in engineering are taught here
Course Curriculum Overview:
Computer Science Teachers are good here and the programs for cse students are quite helpful for skill development
The questions given by teachers are quite difficult which may help in interview questions
Faculties should encourage students for internship form 2nd year onwards.

- I like how extensive the course is. We have the freedom to choose our class schedule and change our course faculty after each semester.
- The diversity is top notch. Many international students are present in the campus.
- The faculty members are from the top colleges like IIT and they have knowledge and connections across the globe which might help u if u want to purse the ur career somewhere else.
Dislikes
- I think the placement could be improved.
- Since there is diversity there will be different opinion and pov which results in fights among the students which by itself isnt an issue but it is on a major scale.
- The college tries to save its reputation by hiding ongoing major problems in college.
Placement Experience:
the placement cell is constantly trying to place the student with decent packages. I personally know few seniors who didnt do great in cllg but still got jobs with ?50,000 per month. The percentage of students getting placed is 100% but some get 3-4lpa and other gets 20+.
The highest lpa ever offered was 50lpa and the average is 7-8lpa. I havent thought about my future after getting the degree yet.

Course curriculum is good . There are two schemes A and B for cse core and other branches.

- the number of student they admit every year is too much this place is becoming beautiful to worst
- the area is too much crowded because it is located in the city
- the fees is too much that a middle class people cant afford
Placement Experience:
the campus placement of the college is too good almost 80-85 % student get placed which is very great thing in pvt colleges
there are almost 300 companies visit every year
the highest package offered is 63 lakh per annum
the avg package is 8 lakh per annum
my plans after getting the degree is to to my own startup

The average package is around 8 lakhs per annum to 10 lakhs per annum. One of my seniors graduated from this college and got a well paying job. The campus placement percentage is around 95%.High reputation companies visit for campus selection.

Placements are given every students passing out. The placement Increment graph of KIIT is going really well. Increasing drastically every year. The students of the batch passing in 2024 was offered upto 81 lakhs per year. And the average package is 8.5 lpa.

Kiit provide good placement to all students. This year the placements were very high and good. The avg. Package for btech for hiked up to 8.5 lakhs which is a very good figure. Many companies come to kiit for placement and internship purposes.

- The regional biasness is a concern for someone who os coming here from other states
- The mess food for the first year student are really concerning
- The hostel accommodation has been a major con , this year many of the students arent even been alloted a hostel

The college placement scene in KIIT is alright , proving a average package of 8 lakhs and going as high as 81 lakhs , the faculty also helps in participating off campus contests and internship for a student

Here is a review of KIIT University based on the experience of a close friend who is now an alumnus of the institute
Pros
- The institute offers a vibrant and happening campus life filled with fun activities.
- The institute gives extra attention to extracurricular activities and has a plethora of platforms through which one can pursue their passion.
- The accommodation facilities are decent and the hostel rooms are spacious. Hygiene is maintained
- The institute has excellent infrastructural facilities like a gym and swimming pool that charge money.
Cons
- KIIT fees are high and not everyone can afford it. This year the annual fees stood at ?3.5 Lakhs
- The faculty pool has average professors and very few are highly experienced.
- The institute also faces issues due to the huge batch size.
- The research culture and the lab sessions are poor and need to be worked on.
- The curfew for girls' hostels is another big concern here. The girls are expected to be inside the hostel by 7 30.
- Placements are decent considering the huge fees you have paid. There are several mass recruiters so getting placed won’t be a major problem.
In all, KIIT is a good choice if you have no financial constraints and want to live a luxurious campus life.

As far as B.Pharma placements are concerned. almost 70% of the students get placed every year. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA.
KIIT University offers good placement opportunities for all the students of the university. However, the placement package offered to B.Com students are lesser compared to other technical and management students.
