Course Curriculum Overview

Computer Science Teachers are good here and the programs for cse students are quite helpful for skill development The questions given by teachers are quite difficult which may help in interview questions Faculties should encourage students for internship form 2nd year onwards.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

4 lakhs per year. And 200000 per semester. There are 8 semesters. Tuition fees - 3,20,000 Registration fees - 15,000 Hostel and mess - 65000 this includes a laptop and some accessories too like laptop bag,etc.

Campus Life

The Infrastructure is extremely good in KIIT and the sports facility is top notch like we are provided with cricket stadium , hockey stadium , badminton stadium etc... and societies and clubs here are good aswell

Admission

I got many colleges in north india like JIIT , UPES , NSUT , IIIT DELHI and MIT but not in computer science I got other other colleges with cse branch like in VIT chennai , UPES , SRM etc.. but KIIT computer science is better then these colleges KIITEE is the entrance exam that is compulsory to get admission in KIIT and the exam is quite easy to score

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is 1:15 Faculties are highly qualified and extremely good nature wise and they are very helpful Physics , Biology and Maths teacher are the best Evs teacher is not likeable due to improper teaching techniques Exams are mediocre level

A well rounded campus life with industry oriented growth in college

Placement Experience:

placement at cv raman global university are good especially for cse/it . student becomes eligible from the 7th semester and compinies like TCS, infosys, wipro,capgemini, cognizant and ibm visit regularly. the highest package is around 15 lpa and average package about 4 to 5 lpa . aroud 80 to 90 % of cse/it student get placed. while non core branch recive fewer core offer but still get it/services opportunities. after my degree, i pland to start my carrier to higher studies for making me as a proffersor.

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is relevant enough to teach you all the basics you would require in engineering though some of the courses can be changed and in place of those new courses can be addded for example for non physics student teaching them quantum mechanincs and that too the old quantum mechanics doesent seem to make sense . The exams are not so frequent and the papers can be rated as moderate

KIIT has lost it's eminence and it's fame for quality education and good placement records

Placement Experience:

Placement record is not so good.. companies like Microsoft and Google have blacklisted KIIT due to poor performance and mismanagement by the KIIT in providing with the right candidates. KIIT shortlists students in basis of multiple tests taken on platforms like AMCAT and on that basics provides the profiles of best performing candidates to the companies invited for campus hirings regardless of the field and job specifications and requirements, so basically KIIT has a very below average performance Training and Placement Cell as they lack decision making and management skills to segregate candidates for hirings according to their skills and not by their general scores and CGPA. NOTE: Companies have shown least interest in KIIT for last 2 years and the poor performance of previous batches and mismanagement by KIIT authorities. KIIT promises 100% placements but that is actually far from reality.

Navigating KIIT : a comprehensive review of facilities and experiences
