What Students Say

Likes

The campus and facilities are good , there are many food courts, libraries,and sports facilities and many more.
The girls to boys ratio is also pretty good
Availability of shuttle service to move from place to place

Dislikes

Hostel in time is a little bit problematic
The mess food sometimes is not that good

Course Curriculum Overview

Sometimes the courses do make inconvenience since we have to study all subject in 1st yr including environmental studies and all subject according to government guidelines. Except that , the curriculum is very good and convenient in many ways.

Internships Opportunities

Yes there are internship opportunities in our college. As there are several companies who give paid internship to many students. Even on of the senior was able to secure the internship Google headquarters at California. We just need the skills for that and CGPA.

Placement Experience

Kiit provide good placement to all students. This year the placements were very high and good. The avg. Package for btech for hiked up to 8.5 lakhs which is a very good figure. Many companies come to kiit for placement and internship purposes.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly tution fees of this course is 400000 Yearly hostel fees of my 3 bedded premium with ac is 120000 Scholarship details - top 1000 students who qualified in the kiit exam gets 10000 rupees every semester

Campus Life

Here every student can enjoy their college life and if you are living in hostel and you can become friendly with others it will be so much fun and enjoyable. There are clubs too and they are very good as I have heard since I am not in one right now.

Since I have opted a 3 bedded premium with ac. Its expenses are 120000 per year. As such the hostel facilities are pretty good. But the end time is a bit of a problem. But I guess it is one and only con I can see.

Admission

In kiit there is a good placement scenerio and a very modern and vast campus. With all the options in hand kiit was best in all aspects. Here the quality of education is very good. Kiit have a good surrounding since it is not in outskirts of the city.

Faculty

All the faculty members are highly qualified. They have studied in foreign countries too and are still contributing in many research works. Sometimes their accent becomes a problem but they are good at teaching. For btech students the 1st yr include every subject with aspect of all btech field courses. They take Teacher assessment, mid semesters and end semester exams in total 100 marks each subject

A well rounded campus life with industry oriented growth in college

Placement Experience:

placement at cv raman global university are good especially for cse/it . student becomes eligible from the 7th semester and compinies like TCS, infosys, wipro,capgemini, cognizant and ibm visit regularly. the highest package is around 15 lpa and average package about 4 to 5 lpa . aroud 80 to 90 % of cse/it student get placed. while non core branch recive fewer core offer but still get it/services opportunities. after my degree, i pland to start my carrier to higher studies for making me as a proffersor.

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is relevant enough to teach you all the basics you would require in engineering though some of the courses can be changed and in place of those new courses can be addded for example for non physics student teaching them quantum mechanincs and that too the old quantum mechanics doesent seem to make sense . KIIT has lost it's eminence and it's fame for quality education and good placement records

Placement Experience:

Placement record is not so good.. companies like Microsoft and Google have blacklisted KIIT due to poor performance and mismanagement by the KIIT in providing with the right candidates. KIIT shortlists students in basis of multiple tests taken on platforms like AMCAT and on that basics provides the profiles of best performing candidates to the companies invited for campus hirings regardless of the field and job specifications and requirements, so basically KIIT has a very below average performance Training and Placement Cell as they lack decision making and management skills to segregate candidates for hirings according to their skills and not by their general scores and CGPA. NOTE: Companies have shown least interest in KIIT for last 2 years and the poor performance of previous batches and mismanagement by KIIT authorities. KIIT promises 100% placements but that is actually far from reality.
