Remarks:
Memorable is the word.
Though I am not from Maharashtra , I stayed at hostel and sharing my experience.
The First few days are difficult to adjust climate wise, new place, new friends and all. Interaction with seniors . For South-Indians, the food culture is different from the southern states and might pose problems. There are various places in and around The campus that serve excellent south Indian food. The difficulties faces in initial days are very trivial as compared to the big picture.
The huge and lush green VNIT campus, it's infrastructural abundance and very hostile atmosphere. South Indians get many seniors from their respective states and hence are accomodated to the juniors-seniors hierarchy very easily. South-Indians,naturally blessed with intelligence and dancing abilities, make their mark in academics and extracurriculars very easily.
If you are on the verge of embarking this roller coaster of ride in VNIT, then fasten your seat belts, and enjoy. I assure your ride would have more high points than low points and you would end up with a bundle of experiences, both good and bad, and the years would be - Memorable.
