Very good college to study.

Haveing nice facilities and atmosphere but utilization of those resource are at low level can be improved still a lot.

GATE, i scored 547 marks and was ranked AIR 3137 as it was a premiere institute to have construction management i opted for it.

We had fine syllabus with core subjects of project planning, Finance and business management, project appraisal, Construction contracts, etc. Also with elective like energy efficiency buildings, operation and research, Risk analyisis, etc.

Well nothing much about internship as i am pursuing my post graduate the stipend we get is 12400 per month for which we assist the faculties in work.

Placements for post graduates are low, may be one or two core company come for job but software company comes and takes a huge amount of people in B.Tech.

Axis main tech fest of the college and other event like consortium, texta are conducted by individual clubs then and there and Institutional gathering and vihang are sports meet conducted separately for UG and PG.

Very expensive studying in NIT, but its totally funded by students only per sem 40000 as sem fee, and hostel 65400 per year with one time payment of 10000. Total 155000 per year but it is easy to get loan from Canara Bank which is inside the college.

I have availed Educational loan from canara bank for sum of 300000. But some restriction for bank loan like no backlogs makes some student deniable of the loan.

Very facilities are well and good but management of those facilities are poor as it is and government institution some how we are coping up with it.

Hostel facilities are good but cane be improved and food is sometimes very good and other times worst poor level of management in mess.

Ya has wonderful network of alumni whose president himself working as college professor so easy reachable and also helpful in careers of some students.

We have sessions test after every month two sessions for 15 mark each, 10 mark for assignment and 60 mark for end sem. End sem is continuous no leaves in between except the general holidays.

Faculties generally poses both on field experience and teaching experience hence subjects to the core is being taught to us and also Experienced staff for other colleges also come for guest lectures.
