Vnit review form 1 st year students

Our course starting form first directly go according to our branch form this new syllabus disign for core metallurgy and materials if you perform well in first year then you can take minor subject which is extra advantage for us but you have to maintain good cgp in both otherwise you have to leave subject or you may have extend you degree time.

Yes I am paid first semester fees . And according to vnit nagpur sc student have to pay one time fees for four year which will refund after four and other fees that I have to pay and mess and hostel fees we have to pay separately which is 32150. I don't have any scholarship now but later I will try to get scholarships

I have come vnit nagpur at 22 august 2025 for admission then I alloted hostel . Form next day me and my roommate started exploring compus as compus is in more than 200 acres. Oneday we started form our main building to all department then we went to indoor game complex and grounds for different sport like cricket ground, football ground, 2 basketboll court , 2 vollyball court and inside sport complex we have badminton and table tennis, and other indoor game.

Hostels facility in 1 st year is good as in our hostel there are jp, sp, security officer, warden . As according to our problem we can report at different label. We can file complain if lan is not working or hostel is not cleaned. Mess is quite good compared to other colleges four time with proper nutrients in meal and we can also complain if mess food quality in decreased but mess provide good food

I have given jee main and jee advanced both and got decent rank in jee mains but in advance I got low rank even I have both options to get iit and nit . I am getting new iit lower branch so I choice nit . I josaa and csab counselling I got nit Durgapur , nit Bhopal, nit jamshedpur, but last I have choiced vnit nagpur which is 800 km form my home.

As we come new in institute and only start our induction program I have me 12 professor and head of department of my department and other few deans and director . My department have high funding in my college and all machines as like iit . We have told that our branch change is discontinued and directly starting for course and exam are quite tough in first year as told by our mentor because we are new in this environment as we adopt this environment then we feel confident with for branch.

As we are first year students we have to stay in hostels after 8 pm so our night life start after dinner we play volleyball in hostel as court is available and then we night canteen in our hostel as we don't allow to go outside duration night were price is little high but food is good.
