- The Infrastructure! Of course, Nmims is widely known for its infrastructure along with its education. It has library, gym, spacious classrooms
- The difficulty level of course. Yes, the paper patterns and curriculum are latest as per the policy and this making the courses more competitive.
Dislikes
- Value for money. Sometimes I feel like the same course could be made available for lower cost

Course Curriculum Overview:
This course seemed very much aligned with the current market needs and I found it much interesting for me. During the lectures, teachers discusses Business case studies which helps us understand the complex concepts, easily and quickly. The class tests, presentations, assignments mostly hapens every 10-15 days, with moderate difficulty levels.

- The campus is very luxurious and nice with A.C everywhere
- Faculty is very interactive and helping both in college and personal issues
- The students are also well mannered and nice and all around a good alumni
Dislikes
- No proper sports ground or anything close to it
- No proper gym or anything like that is made into the building
- Holidays are very less and very rarely given
Placement Experience:
Campus placement will be discovered later on my course is a new one so we do not know yet neither do we have any seniors but we will probably get both internships and placements both on campus and off campus

- Infrastructure , faculties , mess and security
- Infrastructure is very nice clean and has centralised AC with wifi jammers and high security

- Hectic schedule and time table is definitely something i dont like personally
- High attendence the time table is in such a way you cannot bunk lectures or take a off without being in defaulters
Placement Experience:
For mpstme the placements are quite strong especially with its given reputation and the amount of opportunities it offers in india as well as outside india , companies like JP MORGAN , KOMG , infosys , TCS , wipro are recruiting here. With placement rate above 80% and highest package being 25Lakhs and average 10-13lakhs

Course Curriculum Overview:
The course which I took was into HR. It was very very relevant
Each and every topic consist of case studies which helped us to understand the topic in a better way.
Practical way of making the course understand is far more better

- The welcoming environment of my college has been instrumental in shaping my personal growth. Surrounded by supportive peers and seniors that are so generous and helpful. From Engaging in group Activities ,events and Rotaract club helped me interact
- The professors at my college has been incredibly helpful and supportive, specially as I transaction from a science background to commerce, they made the shift much easier by explaining concepts in a simple way and encouraging me to participate.
- The ratio of girls and boys varies from course to course. For example in psychology the ratio of girls are more whereas in Bcom the majority of boys is more. But in my course the ratio is almost equal.
Dislikes
- The only thing that I miss is having campus with sports. Although the sports committee is very good I miss playing sports within the campus like having tennis and basketball court. The other campus have the arenas.
Placement Experience:
Although I am in first year, so I am not really aware of the placements, but I hear that 80-90% of the students get the placement offers around 4-10 lakh per annum. if no campus placement is offered to me, then I have would probably search for cooperative financial service or have my masters in finance or the start preparing for CFA so I have side degree with bachelors which will give me opportunity for jobs in financial sector. Also many companies have offered placements like federal bank, Sapio analytics, sutherland global services, hexagon nutrition ltd, dalmia group and many more.

- Teachers teach well most of the time and faculty has a background of filmmaking and working in the industry
- we are taught everything from fundamentals to software
- campus is good and well equipped for every basic needs
Dislikes
- Computer labs dont have the best configuration in terms of pcs which is required
- Teachers sometimes hold grudges on students
- Attendance is a big issue in this college with minimum attendance needed 80%
Course Curriculum Overview:
i personally was more keen into doing vfx and that does not start until the 4th semester. The circulum is properly set but somedays are bigger and we dont get enough rest because of it.
Assignments are many and only join if you can work that much

- Timetable making was not organised; often had breaks of over 3/4 hours
- Canteen food was limited and didnt provide many healthy options
- Not all faculties are PHDs and often face language barriers during teaching
Placement Experience:
The campus placemtn procedure begins in the 4th semester itself that is the end of the 2nd year, the college's placement team offers a very comprehensive training program that trains the students in both technical and soft skills.
Followed by this the companies start coming in for Internships and Full time opportunity.
The previos year companies like KPMG, EY, Mondelex offered roles to students as consultants and trainees.

- Teachers were super chill, interactive and to be honest over qualified for their jobs. Extremely knowledgeable which makes you push harder in terms of knowledge gaining. Great practical knowledge gained through certain projects given in internal exam
- The crowd... Consisting of people with different backgrounds and different parts of India . Gaining new perspectives, Bringing those various students under the same roof makes us understand how different regional upbringing impacts lives
- Exams and schedule were challenging...strict timings and attendance with difficult examinations challenged students to stay disciplined and be prepared for things which are generally tougher than what they seem like. Racing but makes you tougher
Dislikes
- Crowd...similar disadvantage because many come from spoiled backgrounds hence they would act a lil bit too much out of the box, which initially very boring and initimitading but eventually you would realise that most of them are like this
- Student campus life ...there is no campus life and they make sure you don't have one with so many assignments and new projects happening almost everyday. There is no campus so you have no option but to live like u are in a shell just college n home.
- many students...the specialization and the skill which teachers have I feel it would be impactful if the amt of students in a classroom would be lesser but somehow I don't blame the institute it's in a prime location and there are aspiring students
Course Curriculum Overview:
Yes when I was going for the curriculum I was very leaned onto understanding management and key aspects of leadership. If nothing the course gave me an understanding how disciplined you can be ... being on time multiple projects as well as assignments . Sometimes they used to teach us extra things which were not even in the syllabus and then later on ended up cutting it so if that was better it would make sense . Exams were made common later . Like for example in my first year there was no mid term exams but 50 marks internal and this assesment was made by the teachers. But later they assessed it on the basis of a common 20 mark test and 30 mark internal. I think the 50 mark internal was much better because the teacher would keep those internal tests with his pace of teaching . And the 50 mark externals were difficult

- The canteen is very good with lots of dining space and good food
- The teachers are very much highly qualified which enables great learning
Dislikes
- The girls boys ratio is quite a bit unequal with boys majority more comapred to girls
- There is lack of parking space, College don't have parking but there is no parking outside college too. There are few paid parkings but price is high.
Placement Experience:
The placement is quite good, the statistical reason for being good is that it has average 8 LPA which many college can't afford besides this there is also good support and advisory from Placement Cell.

- Honestly I appreciate everything. I just hoped we had a bigger campus of our own because music isn’t something that should be having just one floor in some old building. So yeah I feel like that’s where a lot of improvement is required.
- My interactions with the people around definitely contributed a lot to my mindset. It showed me how people take their mistake and work on it. It taught me so many approaches.
- The faculty over here genuinely changed my life to an extent I can’t express. They’re to be very honest, genius in terms of telling each and every student on how they’re supposed to work. And that always works like magic
Dislikes
- The size of the campus. We need a bigger space to accommodate more students.
- We’re having to struggle with space because we don’t much rooms to practice
- Atleast two big floors should be provided for western music and Indian music
Course Curriculum Overview:
The specific aspects of the curriculum that made me choose this is that we get to practice music here almost the entire time and it's reasonably good. It's not at all slow.
We're not doing the same things for weeks because we get so much time at our college already to practice and I personally get more time to practice at home to be better day by day.

What are the reviews for the NMIMS Mumbai hostel for girls and the Sanghavi hostel for MBA girls?

NMIMS hostel facility includes two full-fledged hostels and three rented residential accommodations that are taken care by the university in Mumbai, separately for boys and girls. The students admitted are given preference on a first come first basis; and preference is given to students from outside of Mumbai to the hostel. The girls' hostels are provided with all the modern amenities, good nutritious food and purified drinking water facilities. Most of the rooms are triple sharing and have a separate washroom inside the room. The rooms are big and spacious with box beds. Each bed is provided with a study table, chair, and a personal almirah. The only odd thing is that despite being MBA hostel, it has a curfew.
You cannot get inside the hostel after 11PM unless you have a valid reason with enough proof.

If you attend this college, you'll find that it caters to an expensive, cushy, rich crowd. However, whether or not you actually learn anything will be up to you, as the classes can be quite lax. You'll need to maintain 805 attendance, which is compulsory.
On the bright side, the teachers are good and there are decent placement opportunities, especially when compared to other colleges. There are also various opportunities available, but keep in mind that money talks here, so be prepared to fend for yourself. The course itself is okay, much like most engineering colleges, but the labs and equipment are good and the infrastructure is solid.
Overall, if you choose to attend this college, you'll find that it's like any good engineering college with a higher fee. Just remember to stay focused and take advantage of the resources available to you. With hard work and dedication, you can succeed and thrive in this environment.
