Placement Experience:
The students have a mandatory 2 months internship after their 1st year and then after the 4th trimester, students are eligible for their final placements. There were about 250 companies that visited the campus this year and there is a strict policy of 1 offer per student. The highest package offered in the campus was 42 LPA and the average package for this year was 19.7 LPA. 95% of students get placement from the campus and the rest 5% opt-out because of sabbatical, higher studies or to start their own business.

The placements are really good. Last year the average package was 18.25 Lakhs. It is bound to go up this year. we completed final placements in 8 days only this time, for all 600 students. The maximum package goes close to 37 lakhs. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Goldman Sachs, McKinsey, Bain, Dabur, ITC, etc come on campus. Almost 100% batch gets placed in NMIMS. I am also planning to get placed in a Marketing company.

Our placement committee ensures 100% placement of all students for both finals and summer internships. Over 200 recruiters come every year. The MBA core program had the highest package of 34.72 LPA, and the MBA HR program had 21 LPA. The average package for MBA Core is 18.45 LPA and 15.09 LPA for MBA HR. Around 25% of students secure PPO's every year, on average. Summer placements are also excellent. The highest for MBA Core was 3 Lakhs and 2 Lakhs for MBA HR, for a 2-month long internship. Recruiters offer various roles in Finance, marketing, HR, Pharma, etc and range from FMCG giants, BFSI, IT, Pharmaceuticals, etc. Opportunity to take part in multiple national and international level competitions is also there, such as L'Oreal Brandstorm, CANVAS by Asian Paints, The Tata Imagination challenge, etc.

The placements are very well. For a summer internship, the first-year students are eligible since first trimester and for finals , second-year students are eligible since fifth trimester. The college provides 100% placements with average placement of 18lpa and highest being 32lpa. The profiles offered are in the domain of marketing, finance, general management and operations.

Students sit for their Summer placements from the 2nd Trimester onwards. NM has a trimester system.
A total of 181 companies visited the campus for the Summers of 2020-22 batch. 28 of them were from Fortune 500 companies and 90 new recruits.
The total number of offers made was roughly 650-700 and still counting.
The highest stipend was 3 lakhs and the average stood at 1.2 lakhs. Top 50 offers clocked an average of 2.48 lakhs.
The different profiles for which the companies came were IT analytics, Consulting, E-commerce, BFSI, FMCG, FMCD, Retail, Pharmaceutical, Media & Telecom, Logistics, oil, and gas, etc.
NMIMS Mum has 100% placement records.
After doing my MBA I plan to go back to Corporate and learn and implement at the workplace. Thereby have self-growth and also bring revenues to the company.

The placement system followed by the college is conducted very smoothly. Our committee works throughout the year to get the best of companies on campus. It is a bit tough given the bigger batch size. But even after that, we have always been able to meet the 100% mark every year.

Companies coming from different industries offer a myriad of roles to students to choose from. The highest package for final placements in 2021 went up to 34.72 LPA while the average package offered was 18.45 LPA.

Remarks:
Because it has brand value, good faculties and placement. Admission process is through common entrance examination and dates lie in june. This college provides industrial exposure and managerial exposure. I used the reference of my relative for choosing this college.

Placement Experience:
The average package mentioned in the placement reports seems inflated but it happens for most of the colleges in India. From the 5th trimester, the students start appearing for the final placements. Similarly, the summer placements start taking place in the first year in the first trimester itself. 50-60% of students end up getting good packages or job roles. The rest usually have to adjust for small start-ups.

If you attend this college, you'll find that it caters to an expensive, cushy, rich crowd. However, whether or not you actually learn anything will be up to you, as the classes can be quite lax. You'll need to maintain 805 attendance, which is compulsory.
On the bright side, the teachers are good and there are decent placement opportunities, especially when compared to other colleges. There are also various opportunities available, but keep in mind that money talks here, so be prepared to fend for yourself. The course itself is okay, much like most engineering colleges, but the labs and equipment are good and the infrastructure is solid.
Overall, if you choose to attend this college, you'll find that it's like any good engineering college with a higher fee. Just remember to stay focused and take advantage of the resources available to you. With hard work and dedication, you can succeed and thrive in this environment.
