The NMIMS’ Nilkamal School of Mathematics, Applied Statistics, and Analytics is accepting applications for its undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma programs for the academic year 2025. Candidates can check the eligibility of their selected programs below and submit their applications before May 31, 2025. The merit list for all program admissions will be available on June 9, 2025.

NMIMS Programs Admission Schedule

NMIMS Programs Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Nilkamal School of Mathematics, Applied Statistics, and Analytics programs, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Undergraduate Program Eligibility
- HSC or equivalent Board with minimum 50% aggregate in any stream with Mathemacs, Stascs, or Mathemacs & Stascs (Science, Commerce, or Arts). IB Diploma holders are only eligible if they have offered Mathemacs / Stascs at SL or HL level.
Postgraduate Program Eligibility
- M.Sc. (Stascs & Data Science): The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Stascs or Stascs as one of the topics in the final year, with at least 50% aggregate marks or an equivalent grade. OR The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree with Stascs as one of the topics in the last year, with at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent grade.
- M.Sc. (Applied Stascs & Analycs): The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Stascs or Stascs as one of the topics in the final year, with at least 50% aggregate marks or an equivalent grade. OR The candidate must have a bachelor's degree in any field with at least 50% aggregate marks or an equivalent grade. The candidate must have passed the 10 + 2 or equivalent test, with Mathemacs / Mathemacs & Stascs / Stascs as a compulsory subject, with a minimum of 50% marks.
- M.Sc. (Data Science): The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or Artificial Intelligence from a recognized university or institute with at least 50% aggregate marks or an equivalent grade. OR The candidate must have a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) with at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent grade. OR The candidate must have a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) / B. Tech degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Data Science / Artificial Intelligence from a recognized university / institute with at least 50% aggregate marks or an equivalent grade.
PhD Program Eligibility
- A Master's degree in Stascs / Applied Stascs, or a professional degree certified equivalent to the Master's degree in Stascs by the applicable statutory regulating body, with at least 55% aggregate or comparable grade.
- An equivalent degree from a foreign educational institution that is accredited by an assessment and accreditation agency.
Candidates will be required to present documents such as their academic certificate, identity evidence, age proof, and others during the admissions process, depending on the program they are enrolling for. Documents must be submitted in both self-attested and original formats for verification.
