The university has a library which have a very good collection of variety of books to refer for studies
The diversity is the best, i feels inside the campu,the sports clubs are good, the gym is provided in aminity centre

CUSAT for BTECH CS, EC and Safety is a good option.

Likes

The teaches, they are very good at their job and caring.
Good atmosphere, good campus and faculty

Dislikes

Some parts of the campus are not maintained
Some teachers are ignorant, and too fast paced

Placement Experience:

Cs, Electronics, IT and Fire and Safety engineering gets the best placement ranging from 5LPA to 12LPA average, core engineering companies and startups visit the campus for recruitment where 90% of the students get placed

Good campus

Placement Experience:

Electronics department has fever placements compared to other departments in the college. But this year sum of my friends both place over 2-3 companies while other departments like computer science, electronics and communication how greater number of placement opportunities number to electrical and electronic engineering

We arw free to do whatever we want. No one is going to control us in any way

Dislikes

They increase the fee sem by sem without a prior notice and wont tell us for what they have increased the fee.
Poor infrasture facilities in the college. Inspite of huge amount of fee they dont provide us with any facilities.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is there for the college but very less. Electrical students get very few package. Vedanta, Tcs, Reliance , Tata ,Shobha construction , Merilitics, Visteon ... 20% get placed. I am looking for job after btech

Likes

Ambience of the college is very calm and big campus
Social interaction and campus life is good

Dislikes

Limited Hostel facilities especially for girls
Some Faculties may be outdated or need maintenance

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year students are eligible for campus placement. There are many companies visiting Cusat for students recruitment. Infosys, Tata consultancy, Wipro, Siemens, etc. are some of these Average salary package is 40000.

The college is having a good atmosphere to study.
It has almost all the engineering courses available

Dislikes

The college only provides MBA courses for some fields
The college is having a single political party

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is applicable for 4 years in case of bachelor of technology and the curriculum is also good, the course has almost 3 months of class for each semester and a month of exam. The exam dates are a little flexible.

The curriculum followed is not much updated but still it covers major portion related to our subjects. It is made such a way that it is easy to learn and can be easily understood by the students. It gives clear information regarding the subjects.

The campus is near Metro station which connects almost all major parts of Kochi
The library facilities, almost all the study materials are available and free wifi is provided

Dislikes

Need a vehicle to explore the campus, it's very vast.
Life in Kochi is expensive and we need to manage our expenses carefully

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm very much interested in Electrical and electronics. There are many real life application. It's easier to get placement. As the EV industry growing there is no problem in placements. We have a new curriculum, it's very good.

Cusat Provides An Healthy Campus Life Which we can enjoy our btech lyf
All the faculty members at CUSAT are highly qualified and knowledgeable with good teaching quality.

Dislikes

College concept of political parties and that is one of the bad thing with college iss known for
Timetable of exams are in tough schedule

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester onwards students get eligible for campus placment, CUSAT offers great placement opportunities to engineering and management students. The university has strong industry connections with companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, EY, PWC, Cisco.highest is 25lpa and avg in 7lpa.More than 600 students get placed at the CUSAT placement every year with great opportunities.

I didnt like the college infrastructure. Not much as i expected .class rooms are like common and its not enough for the fee they collect form students . in my first semester we didnt had a proper class
I like the placements of Cusat. Thst the main reason i joined there . almost all students got placements in school of engineering

Dislikes

The collegw infrastructure . that was a real expectations vs reality moment for me and my friends
The hostel facilities are not that good .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose btech in electrical and electronics engineering . But I really wanted to study btech in computer science . My rank is not enough for that . So I didn't get admission in computer science engineering .So I took electrical and electronics engineering .For today and future there is big scope for electrical engineers because nowadays all vehicles are becoming electrical because they are releasing very less pollution compared to other normal vehicles .Electrical vehicles didn't need fossil fuels like petrol or diesel for travelling .We only have to charge the vehicle. And electric vehicles are easy to travel and charge .So we have electrical labs for practical works .Exams are also conducted for labs.In each semester we have 2 internal exams for internal marks .It was about 2 hours duration. Semester exams have three hours duration. Compared to internal exams semester exam are more tough.We have no internal exam for laboratories, main semester exams are conducted directly. So the over

Likes

Here they concentrate on sports too. Different sport is offered here
There are parks to chill out in the evening

Dislikes

There are very less trees in soe. So it is so hot there
There are not enough space in University hostel to accomodate students

Placement Experience:

The placements are very good. An average salary of 5 lakh is offered and the highest salary offered in this course was 20 lakh. Different companies come here for placements. Almost 70 percentage of students are placed from this course
