I chose btech in electrical and electronics engineering . But I really wanted to study btech in computer science . My rank is not enough for that . So I didn't get admission in computer science engineering .So I took electrical and electronics engineering .For today and future there is big scope for electrical engineers because nowadays all vehicles are becoming electrical because they are releasing very less pollution compared to other normal vehicles .Electrical vehicles didn't need fossil fuels like petrol or diesel for travelling .We only have to charge the vehicle. And electric vehicles are easy to travel and charge .So we have electrical labs for practical works .Exams are also conducted for labs.In each semester we have 2 internal exams for internal marks .It was about 2 hours duration. Semester exams have three hours duration. Compared to internal exams semester exam are more tough. We have no internal exam for laboratories, main semester exams are conducted directly. So the over

The course and curriculum is very advanced and helps us to prepare for the real world application and further academic pursuits. The labs in the campus helps us to understand everything to help us prepare for real world pursuits. The exams are conducted very well with enough study leave to prepare for the exams.
I like electrical based theory. So I chose this course. In my class, there are 68 students. The faculties qualifications are most of the PhD holders others have higher qualifications for teaching. There are sem exams here.
I chose Electrical and Electronics Engineering because I had an interest in that field. The student: faculty ratio is well balanced. There are enough teachers in the college. All the faculties are well qualified and the teaching method is very good. Due to the covid situation term exams were postponed to a few months but they were all conducted.
There are two types of seats allowed by the university. Free seats and paid seats. For free seats fees is around 30000 per annum and for paid seats it is around 65000 per annum. This is decided strictly on the basis of merit.
Fee structure is a little more than NITs. Not as much as VIT KIIT SRM or any such famous private colleges NRI fees is more. My total fees.(2013 batch) is around 37000 per semester, NRI fees is around 75000 per semester. However fee hikes happen every year presently the fees is around 45-50000 per semester for the paid seat(non-kerelaite)students. Kerela students have free seats. they dont pay tution fees. only pay for special amenities based on caste and other categories, their fee ranges from 2000 to 20000.
