Hostel Facilities:
CUSAT provides decent hostel facilities with clean and well-maintained rooms for students. The hostel mess serves a variety of food options, catering to different dietary preferences, though there's room for improvement in taste and variety and is handled by students itself so the quality of food is very good.There is 6 girls hostel and 7 boys hostel.
Hostel facilities are not enough to accommodate every students. However there is many private hostels and pgs available and almost every students will get college hostel at final year. Hostel admission is prioritiesed by distance and reservation.

The hostel fee is 3500/ month. We get a feasible 3 time meals which consists of different menus. In sundays there will be a special menu. Hostel registration is based on the cat rank and distance from college to our hometown

Hostel Facilities:
Hostel rooms are very cheap and affordable and the food they provide are very good. Hostel rent for one month is 500 rupees and for mess it will be around 3000. University hostels are allotted based on your category and distance from home

Hostel Facilities:
In our university hostel rooms there is one room with 2 bed.One room is for 2 inmates and 1 guest.
Meals are good there is non veg atleast once everyday with monthly miss bill of 3000
Hostel room monthly fees is 500 .
Hostel registration is through allotment there are 15 university hostels in cusat with 8 boys hostel 6 girls hostel and 2 international students hostel.
The locality is with good people with many friends

Hostel Facilities:
Hostel is pretty decent and cheap only 400 per month.The food is also average costing around 2500 per month.And there is complete freedom.For international students there is seperate hostel with more facilities.

Availability of hostel tooms will be based on reservation. Only reservation stidents will get hostels in first year. Around 2500 will be fee in hostel including mess charges. The food provided is satisfactory.

Hostel Facilities:
I am staying in college hostel and there are 8 boys hostels and 6 girls hostels.They provide with spacious rooms with 3 seperate bed and 3 table and chair with well conditioned fan lights and ventilation. Common toilets are provied and its peace and calm atmosphere.they provide with homely and comferting food .They provide both veg and non veg food. Hostel rent is 500rs per month and for food it is 2000rs per month.Mess cut is also available

College hostels are available in the basis of distance and reservation. Fees is 500? per month for general, reservations are available. Good mess , veg and non veg , South and North indian food , approximately 2.5k per month for food.

Hostel are allocated on the basis of reservation and distance from the university to students home Town.Hostel food are above average and menu is good there is chicken like 5 times a week. Students who have reservations don't have to pay hostel fees they get that from the scholarship

Hostel Facilities:
There are 8 university hostels for ladies and 7 for men. All facilities are given in the best way possible compared to the other private hostels. There is a hostel curfew till 11. Food is average but can be improved through continuous complaining.

How does a first-year student take a hostel at SOE CUSAT?

One of my friends is from CUSAT SOE. I can provide his experience during his first year at the CUSAT hostel.
- For getting a hostel at CUSAT, you will need to fill an application form available on the website and submit it in the office.
- Earlier the hostels were allocated on the basis of seniority and your distance from the home. But now, you will be given a hostel on the basis of your CAT score and usually, first-year students are allocated first.
- You should make sure that you have submitted your application form before the start of your semesters.
- Although the CAT score is given the first preference, there are other factors like distance from your home state and your performance in academics.
In case you do not get a hostel then you can try outside hostels which are located nearby to the college.
