The faculty to student ratio is 1:15 approximately. The faculties are helping and supportive and the teaching is good and we can approach them for doubts even out of the curriculum. For Mechanical Engineering there is Dr Biju N, Dr Girish Thampi, Dr Tide, Dr saju , Dr Jayadas are the main faculties. The exams is semester vise and two internal exams decide internal mark . The exam is little bit tough than KTU and the evaluation is strict so the pass percentage is less however there facilities like special supplementary for immediate writing of the failed subject. The course curriculum updates every four years.

In CUSAT, the student to faculty ratio is horrible. 70 students is to one teacher is the ratio. The exams are the exams held are very tough and is difficult to even pass. Many of the faculties do not take the effort to teach students. But one of the teacher who stood out the most was our physics teacher,asha miss, Who genuinely liked to teach us.

There is a strong bond between student and faculty. The faculties are really friendly with the students. All the faculties are best and it also depends from person to person Talking about the exam criteria there is continuous assessment exams out of 30 and end semester exam which is out of 50. Then there is lab exams out of 25 each followed by viva.

faculty have very fragile ego ,some are nice some are not at all deserving , and favoritism plays a huge roles among the staffs .so dont expect anything from them just come there do the basic and pass the exams

The faculties of CUSAT are a very diverse bunch of people there are some really amazing teachers who tales class spectacularly and there are some Teachers who are not that good. For the first semester in cusat there is a total of 3 main exams ofcourse there will be small tests here and there,the main failing subject is chemistry in our department. The curriculum of cusat they all are very relevant with the topics they present to us.

Mechanical faculty are one of the best in CUSAT. Almost everyone here has a phd from IIT. But the problem is only the Mechanical teaching faculty is good with us. Civil teaching faculty is also very nice with us. The Life Science teacher is also amazing. The Chemistry faculty is UTTERLY POOR. They dont know how to teach. They dont give us marks even though we write the required points and we cant say anything to them. The Maths Ma'am is ok

Faculties are also very nice if we cooperate with them they will also support back. Faculties also support us during events happening at the campus. I believe exam patterns are almost similar in every collage if you study you pass

Faculty is approachable and well experienced. Although they don't force you to study if you show initiative they will see it. There is no spoon-feeding at all and a lot of students rely more on self study. There are 2 internal exams, 2 lab exams and one semester exam per sem. 40 marks for internals and 60 for semester exams. Both combined you need above 50 to pass.

CUSAT has a highly qualified and experienced faculty that provides students with a world-class education. And the faculty members are actively involved in research projects that contribute to significant advancements in their disciplines. They are friendly with students

there's more than enough faculties in my department.most of them are friendly and very nice.their teaching patterns are also in a different phase which leads to quick understanding of subjects. all the faculties are my favourite.there are mainly 3 exams conducted by the college.2 of them are series exam and one is the main exam
