- The crowd of CUSAT is very friendly. Make friends with people on campus.

- Learn the local language, explore the local culture, and make friends with some local Keralite students.
- Explore the local area, participate in sports, and try to be as active as possible.

As per the eligibility criteria for B.Tech programs at CUSAT, the applicants must have cleared their +2 from a recognized board/university with 60% overall.
