How is the faculty at CUSAT?

Our class size is 18. We have one teacher as class teacher. In the first year, each semester has around 6-7 subjects for each we have faculties. Inshort there as appropriate facluty for students. Best faculties Inlcude Sunoj Sir, K C James Sir, Irshad Sir, Ambili Maam, Asha Maam, Ex-Vice chancellor of CUSAT Sankaran Sir and the list goes on. Every teacher holds a doctorate degree and are well experienced and are supportive. All the faculties are really good, there are no one i dislike. Exams doesnt feel like too tough though. Teachers are helpful in preparing for the test, they also help us to improve our performance in the next exams. In my class, total 18 students are there, there is no one failed during the whole Course duration. Since everyone is pretty smart in my class , no one has active backlogs. The course curriculum is upto date and very relevant.

The faculty is sometimes understaffed at times There are 80 students in my batch, there are two classes in my batch so 40 students each A total of 4 batches are there and the college is sometimes understaffed for teaching The course is rather hard considering the hectic timings, almost 25% of all students end up with backpapers after each semester. In each semester there are usually 6 theory papers and 2 lab practicals The teaching faculty are usually okay and teach well but sometimes they are biased towards students and treat some students differently and some teachers are not interested in teaching and they are not much knowledgeable in the subject but most teachers are okay and satisfactory There are 5 modules to study for in each theory paper and each module is worth 15 marks, so in total 75 marks 24 out of 75 is needed to pass the external exam and a total of 50 must be there to pass the subject Internal is out of 40 marks The sum of internal and external must be 50 and you must score 24 in external After fulfilling these conditions, you will pass the theory paper For lab, it is out of 50 and 25 is needed to pass

The teachers of faculties are great and supportive as most of the teachers have phd and doctorate and the best faculties are ours having one of the best professors and coordinators and they are very much likely to be friendly

The facutly members here are so proffessional and teaches upto the point a student needs for his career, Prof Dhannia who taught me physics in my first sem, Prof Meera miss who taught me mathematics are few of my favourite teachers, they teach excellent if u r willing to study , there are two internal exams and a semester exams also have separate exams for lab, there is internals for lab as well as sem. Marking scheme is that, first internal is of 30 marks

The faculty memebers of the School of The Legal Studies is experinced. Some of them even have served as professors is at National Law universities.They are always available if students need help with studies or resources.
