The faculty are sometimes biased towards some children

Faculty:

The faculty is sometimes understaffed at times There are 80 students in my batch, there are two classes in my batch so 40 students each A total of 4 batches are there and the college is sometimes understaffed for teaching The course is rather hard considering the hectic timings, almost 25% of all students end up with backpapers after each semester. In each semester there are usually 6 theory papers and 2 lab practicals The teaching faculty are usually okay and teach well but sometimes they are biased towards students and treat some students differently and some teachers are not interested in teaching and they are not much knowledgeable in the subject but most teachers are okay and satisfactory There are 5 modules to study for in each theory paper and each module is worth 15 marks, so in total 75 marks 24 out of 75 is needed to pass the external exam and a total of 50 must be there to pass the subject Internal is out of 40 marks The sum of internal and external must be 50 and you must score 24 in external After fulfilling these conditions, you will pass the theory paper For lab, it is out of 50 and 25 is needed to pass

Faculty.I like the faculty very much as teachers are more cooperative.

The teachers of faculties are great and supportive as most of the teachers have phd and doctorate and the best faculties are ours having one of the best professors and coordinators and they are very much likely to be friendly

A College Experience

The faculty approach is good the faculty to student ratio from 1:15 to 1:25 professors tend to be approachable during office hours and through emails All the faculties are liked by all the students 4 years course structures varies according to courses Exams are managed by unversity under Strict evaluation of papers.

less number of permanent staff members , this is an issue as it can affect the NAAC acredation

The facutly members here are so proffessional and teaches upto the point a student needs for his career, Prof Dhannia who taught me physics in my first sem, Prof Meera miss who taught me mathematics are few of my favourite teachers, they teach excellent if u r willing to study , there are two internal exams and a semester exams also have separate exams for lab, there is internals for lab as well as sem. Marking scheme is that, first internal is of 30 marks

Cusat,a place where you can find yourself

There are very less number of permanent faculties here,others all are temporary faculties.The faculty to student relationship is good and they help us with placement.There are two internal exams and one semester exam in every sem.The exams are comparatively easy to clear and very few students will have backlogs.The course curriculum is very relevant considering the modern employment opportunities

campus life at Cusat

The university follows the AICTE Syllabus.And have NACC Accreditation. the faculties from computer science department is bit strict which will make us to follow the syllabus with ease. the curriculum follows 75 percentage attendance criteria

All you need to know about Cochin University

We have a semester based exam system. And there will be 2 internal exams for each subject apart from semester exams at the end there is no internal improvement for improving the internal marks 40% of your overall marks will be from internals and remaining 60% will be from semester exams and you are required to score 50% overall and 24% from the semester exams the total score is out of 100 40 internals and 60 externals for each subject. The exams are generally in moderate levels and I can promise you that it is not that easy but achievable. The teachers are friendly and approachable the best faculty in my opinion are Dr Biju N, Dr Gireesh kumaran Thambi and Dr. Tide P S. And all other facilities are also amazing. All these facilities helped us to create different clubs and nurtured is to gaining skills rather than just studying, they showed us how the real industry is and also promoted us to understand the real world problems.

The life in CuSAT

The faculty in total was around 25 in total, there is an hod then 7-8 professors and associate professors then 12 assistant professors and rest of the lab staff and office staffs. The faculty i liked the most was minu paulose ma'am she was very friendly and always addressed students problems. There were in total 8 semesters so 8 semester exams and each semester had 2 internal exams for continuous evaluation.

A Silent Voice

Faculties members are well behaved and educated in their respective fields. but I personaly think it could be little more better by bringing more youth faculties. I personally liked Mech departments faculties more than my own department. there will be 2 series of internal exams for each subject and one final semester exam.
