CUSAT Faculty

The faculty at CUSAT is highly qualified, with most members holding PhDs and possessing significant teaching and industry experience. The faculty-student ratio is approximately 1:20, and many faculty members are approachable and supportive, often assisting with internships and projects. The faculty includes both permanent staff and temporary guest lecturers, with a notable presence of alumni. The teaching methodology is interactive, utilizing modern teaching aids like projectors. However, there is a language barrier for non-Malayalam speaking students.

Faculty are dedicated and helpful, although there are some concerns about the teaching quality of temporary staff and the fair distribution of internal marks. The institution values faculty development, and many faculty members are involved in research. There is a structured examination system with two internals and one semester exam per term, and students need to maintain a minimum attendance of 75% to sit for exams.
