Kunjali Marakkar School of Marine Engineering Kochi: Admission 2025, Fees, Courses, Cutoff, Ranking, Placement

I chose this college over other maritime institutes as this college has had a very high placement rate in the recent times.It's placement rate in the last year ie of 2023 batch was 100%.I did not apply to other maritime colleges i only applied to kmsme.The admission process in my college is first you have to write a exam called imu cet and you need to have a valid rank in that examination and you also need to apply for cusat cat examination these are the requirements required to apply to my college.The cutoff ranks vary every year.Every year the competition is getter tougher and tougher so you also need to have a good rank to get the admission.so i would suggest a rank below 5000k in imu cet will secure you a seat in kmsme.My overall admission experience was good in this college .The staff were very friendly and helped me in every step of the admission process and during the admission process they had conducted an induction class to talk to us about the course and discuss every aspects of the course to us

I applied for other than this college.But this college gets admission then i reject all other college.There are exams for getting this college.They are mainly two exams.IMU and CAT exams.After they were interviewing the students and parents.And then they were discussing about the college and hostel Life.

Students for B.tech Marine engineering course at kunjali Marakkar school of marine engineering are admitted based on the rank list of common entrance test(CET) conducted by Indian maritime university from the academic year 2022 - 23 onward

This is the nearest marine college to my hometown. This college has the course which I had an interest in. The fees are a bit high but still, they were providing the educational loans. The student reviews about this college are also good.

This is the nearest marine college to my hometown Ranni. The college is best for marine engineering. I wanted to join marine as I am looking my career in it. KMSME was also recommended by my teachers for marine.

The management is a bit strict, considering that we have morning PT, and hostel timing with strict attendance policy. But they are manageable if you are in the right mindset

Course Curriculum is nice and systematic also. College exam structure is good with full preparation of student. college take exams of the student but before that college take class test and internals exams of the student so that students well prepared for the final exam.

Course curriculum is good and well managed. i thought that it will be tough for me but i was wrong because when i read all subjects then i understood it is easy and as well as interesting. College take exams of the students in semesterwise which is very good system.

Course of b.tech marine engineering course very good and is well managed. We will learn these subjects in our course Environmental studies and Technical Communication, electrical engineering, thermodynamics, language lab, Applied Thermodynamics, mechanical engineering, engineering physics and engineering chemistry, fluid mechanics, marine electronics, machine drawing , ship Technology, boilor etc . We have regular practical sessions which are very important are useful.

We have good course curriculum with the following subjects Marine Diesel Engines- Design &Performance,Advanced Welding Technology,Ship Design and Economics, Ship Dynamics & Marine Machinery System Installation, elective subjects, Advanced Theory of Vibrations,Maritime Safety and Environment,Gas Turbines,Port Logistics and Planning,Optimization Technique,Energy Conservation & Managemen,Quantitative techniques for managerial Decisions,Marine Corrosion & Prevention Etc. We have good practical classes regularly.
