campus wi-fi was reasonably reliable in academics area as well in hostel
sometimes tech fests and cultural events provide networking opportunities.Gilrs to boy ratio in department of engineering is 1:5

some gaps existed between theoretical content and latest industry technologies like AI/ML .in core exposure to tool like cadence.
regular curriculm was not updated as per requirment of the demand of the inustry demand

Admission:

one of the key reasons was the MOU WITH IIT HYDERABAD During my admission year so opportunities for research and guidance from iit hyderabad faculty will be get and also exposure of workshops and internshipor seminar conducted jointly.but after one year of addmision MOU will be cancalled.that is the worst thing.

They announced 100 percent hostel to all but they have shortage of hostel which result in over crowded
Water scarcity is one of the major problem in this university
No proper ground for playing. Initial ground is full of stones and silt

Firstly I felt lucky to get admitted in this college because of their teaching quality
The faculty members are very talented in their stream and very responsive for the student
Infrastructure is also very good and new in condition and premises also is in the clean manner

Dislikes

The department of physics and the electronics are worst in teaching
Some departments are not follow the college time table for conducting class, especially in electronic department
Need to improvement of the college canteen, and there is no school and stationery shops nearby the college, there is a much noise of the vehicles around the college

Admission:

I applied many colleges like SDM Dharwad, Haveri medical College, nursing college of Sringeri, etc.., But at the end I choosed this college because of my budget and quality of education. Here in our college the process of admission is college will take required documents to get admit to in that college and ask to pay University fees and college fees respectively. I liked the most thing that our college made EMI option for paying fees for poor peoples.

My experience of CUK

Likes

Good infrastructure with classrooms , garden , and scenic environment
Great social interaction among people from varied cultures.
Great curriculum with enhanced syllabus and additional learning.

Dislikes

Poor hostel facility and food facilities
Lack of connectivity and availability of essential things nearby campus
Less co-operative staffs and teachers...

Admission:

I applied for a few Central University based on my entrance marks. But i couldn't able to make into other colleges due to shortage of marks. When i got selected into this university, the first thing that attracted me was, the varied section of students which gives a platform to explore about various cultures. Central University of Karnataka follows a simple admission process The department head will conduct a video call over zoom/google meet. where shortlisted student will join, the faculties will have a quick interaction and ask the students to pay the fees, after the call, they will send one link to WhatsApp, clicking on which student can pay fees and confirm their admission.

CUK is worthy or not

Likes

Library I like the most, with a lot of collections and other sources
I like my hostel the most, a place which Iam never gonna forget
The greenary around the campus I like the most

Dislikes

I dont like my mess and the mess food that is being provided.
The climate over there I dont prefer, It makes me more unconfortable
There is not recreations around the campus to spend time

Admission:

I thought to be in a new place having a green environment, silent and calm, so I choose this, found it better than others. I didnt reject other colleges Injust had this in my first choice and just came here after admission process got over. During the time of admission, cutoff were high to reach here, Still I cleared it nd entered here.

Finding cuk both better as well as not.

Likes

The laboratory is worth for the money being paid. It is equipped with high tech instruments and its useful for research purposes.
The faculty have better domain knowledge comparing to others.
Equipped with a lot of books relating with chemistry.

Dislikes

The examination and marking scheme is really hard.
The academic structure is very hard, more time has tot be spent for preparation to examination.
groupism is followed in this college, they are made to join in groups.

Admission:

After completing my ug I just wrote cuet entrance exam and just gave this one college as my preference and after clearing it, i just got admission the merit. admission in this college is completely based on the merit score and lost though the open councelling.

Comparing other central universities, CUK is moderately fine.

Likes

Academic structure is comparatively good than other state colleges.
Professors are awesome, have depth knowledge in their core.
Infrastructure at the least were repaired and made available.

Dislikes

Present hostel food is being the worst, availablity of basic things like water will be not there in the hostel for consequtive days.
Last minute updation works for NACC made it worst, atleast they could had worked better to make it a fine one.
State based communities are being followed here, that makes it somewhat uncomfortable

Campus life will be amazing, you can find people across India. And every year there will be lot of fests and parties. There are ground, Basketball court and indoor stadium for badminton and kabaddi courts to play with friends
The university boasts a team of highly qualified and experienced faculty specializing in organic chemistry, inorganic and physical chemistry.
Chemistry department is equipped with advanced instruments like FTIR, NMR, UV-Vis and fluorescence spectrophotometer, MPLC etc .. You will gain hands on experience in handling them.

Dislikes

Climate challenges: It will be hot most of the times
Hostel facilities may not meet the expectations of students seeking modern amentities
Being a relatively new institution, CUK may have fewer established industry collaborations or placement oppurtunities compared to older IIT's and universities.
