Overall the faculty at nit srinagar is good they provide us with good study material and they have average speaking skills we can understand their lectures easily jsnsnjdjdhdhshshhsjsjshhshshshshshshhshshshshhshshshshshshhshshdh
It has a beautiful campus and the best facilities the library has a huge amount of books and has free wifi speed like 100mbps.
In nit srinagar campus placement is very good many companies visit and they offer good packages highest packages in our college is 40-50 lpa that is good and many companis like tata hcl visits out college

Dislikes

Placements are very poor as only 20-30% students get placed with an average package of 6lpa!
Rapid development must has to present here which feels bad about this college.
There are no oncampus internships you have to find one your own and let college know about it.they put restrictions on everything and no proper leave is given for the internship facilities mentor you correctly and guide you

Placement Experience:

Last year's placement is extremely excellent. If I talk about my department students grant a higher package of 22 lack provided by oil India PSU. And lower is 6 lack and moderate is 8-9 lack and placement percentage of all the students of my branch is 78 percent. Some students go for higher studies.

The placements of our college saw an abrupt rise in the last few years and many of the students getting Package ranging from 15lac to over 30lac per annum. In this year 2022, our college received 90% placement with high package of over 40LPA

The placement scenario is good in this college. Last year's batch grabs good placements. The highest placement was 42 lakh offered by Microsoft. The average package of all branches is around 10 LPA. After the second-year students can sit in placement.

The thing i liked about this college is that the college is located in a beautiful city where you can enjoy your life.
I liked the hostel and mess, foot given is quite good.
Teachera are quite good and helpful.

Dislikes

As this college is located in Kashmir so not many companies visit here for giving job opportunities.
Infrastructure is not so much good.

Placement Experience:

Students get eligible for campus placements after the 7th semester. About 55-60% of the students get placement on campus. The highest salary package offered is 22 LPA in coding, and the highest salary package offered in the core is 9.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 6 LPA. There are some core companies that visit here every year like Tata Project, L&T, Suzuki Motors, and Vedanta, etc.

Placements are good in IT and CSE and the placement percentage is 75% and highest package in these branches can go upto 40LPA CTC and in other non, IT branches like ELE, MECHANICAL placement is up to 45% to 50% and the highest package can go upto 18 LPA. Companies like BSNL, WIPRO, Amazon, Indian Oil, and so on visit the campus.

Placement Experience:

The college had good placements for the last three years. Received an average package of 13LPA for the CS and IT branches with 100% placements. And, 8LPA for all branches with approx. 85% placements. If any student didn't get placed then he/she can go for Ph.D. at IIT Delhi as the college has signed MoU with IIT Delhi.

BETTER THAN EVER

Placement Experience:

Good placements in nit Srinagar also it also provide very high CTC. For technical background, almost all the students are placed. In core, 70 percent are placed and others going for higher studies like MTech. My plan is to take job.

NIT Srinagar -honest review

Placement Experience:

After the 6th-semester students are eligible for campus placements. CS, IT and ECE branches have the highest packages. Their highest packages are up to 30 LPA. Civil engineering has decent placements. But the chemical and metallurgical departments have low placements so they are not worthy to be studied here.
