The reason behind choosing this college was my uncle studied there in his childhood and recommended me. I never tried any other colleges or got any rejections. the admission process was simple just a simple exam and checking my 10th and 12th certificates and dome passportsize photos.

We had an entrance exam, in which I scored rank 62 and the question paper was based on the 10th and 12th syllabus. The exam went smoothly and I got selected in kgp, the admission process was conducted very smoothly and that's how I landed at the Kashmir govt. Polytechnic College Srinagar.

The cut off at my time was 75 When result was out , I was selected in Kashmir Government Polytechnic and went for my admission. Got a admission form and filled it up with details along with an affidavit. And that's it. Eligibility is minimum 10th class passed out. We just need a hostel in our college. We suffer a lot of problems as we are on a rented house. We have to cook itself. Cleaning clothes itself. So this cooking and other activities had a bad impact on studies
