Fees and Financial Aid:

I pay around 80000 per semester , I pay around 18500 hostel fees per semester and mess fees also 20000 per semester, the fess for other categories like sc , st and obc is generally less like around 40000 per semester. There is scholarship for first year students having income less than 1 lakh.

There are two semester per year and in one semester mess fess is 20000and the acadmics or the semester fees is 81000 and it is also vary according to the catagory of the student and total of 162000 as the total fee

Student Snaps:

There is semester wise fees accordingly to the category general have to pay 80000 per semester and category like sc , st , obc have to pay 38000 per semester. There is scholarship is provided to student having income less than 1 lakh is provided with scholarship in 1st year .

Is Nit Srinagar worth it?

As i am sc student mine complete fees is waived off but still there was a registration fees of each semester which was 3100 Rupees . apart from tution fees mine each semester hotel fees was 6000 Rupees and mess charges was 20000 per semester and at the time of admission they tooked some deposite which was refudable and the amout was 6500. the student s from other cateogrys have diffent fees according to their parents tax slab. and i got a scholship from central goverment of India named Top class sc student on the basis of mine jee main percentile the amount of scholarship was 4000 per year.

My college name is National institute of technology srinagar. My 1st year fee is nearly 95000/-,for further years,fee is nearly 77000/-. My tution fee is 0/- as Iam belongs to EWS category. My caution fee is 12000/-, registration fee-6500/-, mess fee is 21000/- per semester, institution fee is 10500/- per semester, hostel fee 8000/-per semester. scholarships available for students in our college - FFE,NSP, other reliance scholarships.

College is good but the placement in the college is very bad, on the sites it's showing very high respectively.... So if want to get only place so not good this college, but if you have backup plans so college is very good.

Fee for btech courses is 206000 per annum including hostel and mess for general students with above 5lakh income while for reserved categories it is less or no fee depending upon the category Like some of my friends have only 2000 rs while others have none of it. For general students there is no schlorship but for other categories there are many schlorships including nsp.

Tuition fees- 91500 per semester Hostel fees- 24500 per semester Mess fees- 21000 per semester I belong to the OBC-NCL category, female, outside Jammu & Kashmir category. The tuition fees for General and OBC-NCL category (with no fees recession) is the very same. There are also ways to get fee recession depending upon the range of annual family income. The categories are: 1lakh to 2.5 lakh, 2.5 lakh to 5 lakh, and above 5 lakh. There is maximum fee recession for the first category where the tuition fee gets to 0 while the fees one needs to pay is hostel and mess fee.
