Faculties are not just backbone but they are the ones who shapes and institute. The reason why NIT Srinagar is so balanced is because it has been shared by prodigious faculties. We are lucky that some of the best brains who wanted to live in Mountains have decided to come and teach here.

The faculty of mine college was well knowledge and highly degreefied from well known Universities and their behavior towards students was very friendly and supportive, mine sturctural engineering faculty i like the most beacuse of his kind bheavior and simple nature towards students even he helped me and mine friends after class also but i dont like one of mine geotech facutly because of her rude bheavior and arrogance. In each semester there was to exams mid term and end term accordingly the level of question paper was also quiet decent even 10% fail to pass the exam.

Faculty to student ratio is good and most of the faculties are easily approachable. My personal favourite was Mr.Jalal as he was very kind and honest towards us.Mr.Singal felt a bit biased and was very strict in marking. Exams are divided in two terms (mid and end term) both are fairly difficult and are very relevant to our courses. In cse especially most students clear the exams

The faculty to student ratio is not good, but faculty is very good and the student relationship is healthy and it is very easy to approache them . Personally I liked the physics faculty because of his way of teaching, the way he explain concepts with easy example. I don't liked mathsmathic faculty as they don't teach well and even they are rude The exam is taken in two term i.e First in mid term and then End term. The level of exam is moderate. Few students fail in some subject.

The CS branch of Thapar University has much better ranking placements, and faculty as compared to NIT Srinagar.

  • Academic excellence: Thapar University has ranked 20 among the top engineering colleges of India according to the NIRF report 2023. This proves its academic excellence in terms of study, faculty, infrastructural ability, and placement as well.
  • Faculty: The students will get an opportunity to learn under the guidance of highly educated and experienced faculties in their respective fields with an extensive understanding of the industry.
  • Environment: Due to tight eligibility criteria and a high fee structure Thapar University has a good quality of students. Rajiv Rattan (IPS Officer Current Designation: DG).
