Is CSE at NIT Srinagar a good option?

You’ll be eligible for a good number of companies visiting the campus during the placement season. The permanent teachers are good but less in number. Though the teachers are good, you’ll have to heavily depend on self-study. This department puts minimum academic pressure on students. The curriculum is also manageable. Here are a few points about NIT Srinagar in general- Srinagar will allow you to enjoy the beauty of nature. You’ll lack access to malls and cinema halls, but the mesmerizing weather will be worth everything.The weather remains cold for 7 to 8 months of the year. You can go for a stroll or play sports on the banks of Dal Lake. There’s unfortunately, corruption in the college administrative and management units. The hostels have WiFi and ultra-high-speed broadband lines. The mess food isn’t great, and vegetarians/Jains have very limited food options, both inside and outside the campus. There are holidays due to frequent strikes, ‘bandhs’ and curfews. The number of girls on campus is quite low. You won’t be offered a typical college experience at NIT Srinagar. But this place will teach you a lot. Academically, you’ll be on your own. But for a stress-free campus life, you can consider this college.

Today's world works on technology so cse branch is booming.In our college subjects asked in interview are directly from our curriculum. Curriculum is fine but the teaching methods lack some practical excercise. Exams are done twice per sem and are fairly difficult.

NIT srinagar : A place signifying Majesty of nature and a ground for academic growth

The fees is around 7.5 -8 lacs for general category students You can avail Fee waivers based on your income certificate which you'll have to get issued from the tehsildar There are other scholarships too for which you can apply like NSP and some private scholarships like reliance , airtel , shraman etc.

The fees for per semester is 73000 is the income is above 5 lakh 2/3 percent fees is waiver for income between 1-5 lakh And no tution fees for income below 1 lakh Scholarship both private and government is available both on merit and caste based.

Hello NIT Srinagar is good college. Faculty members are well educated and placement are also decent. Mostly, 85% students at NIT Srinagar got placed. The highest package was 37 LPA, and the average package is around 4 LPA. Thank You

If you belongs to SC/St category then you have to pay only hostel and mess fee there is 100% scholarship for sc/st students. And if you having good marks in jee then you will get scholarship from NSP.

tution fees-So, basically according to government policies the fee structure is classified into 3 types on the basis of family income .If your family income is less than 1lakhs then you have not to give tution fees only mess and hostel fee is required 18 thousand .If family income in between 1 lakh to 5 lakh per annum then 2/3 fees of tution got deducted and you have to give almost 60 thousands.If above 5 lakh family income then full fee you have to give almost 1 lakh in a semester. scholarships-you will get NSP scholarship if you are eligible obc,st,sc candidates. campus employment and job roles-you will get a highly paying job if you study well here you will land with a handsome package after the completion of your btech degree.

Course curriculum is same as other nits have which IS Best course curriculum designed by NBA which tech in a way that help a lot in our professional and personal life

There I have not seen in increament in tution fee like that in my collage there was a tution fee 62000 per semester and hostel fee 7000 and mess fee 15000 and there are many scholarship for other category studenta except general category nearly all fee become zero for others and for sc st category there will be no tution fee required

My college little good mostly bad

Tution fee of the institute is totally set by the government as it is a government college. yes there are good chances of schorlarship to get but you need to be belonging from the category which are elligble for getting it.

NIT srinagar review

Students at NIT srinagar appreciate the knowledgeable and supportive faculty. The curriculam is considering to be good,covering essential subjects like DBMS and Operating systems

From last 4 years fees is same Per semester institution fees is Rs.65,500 for general category and Rs.10,500 for obc/sc/st Only if income is less than 1lakh not for sc/st only for obc. You can apply for NSP and state scholarship here you will only get fee waiver according to income of your family. I am not undertaken any employment in college so I cant say about what they are providing to employee
