NIT Srinagar - A Beautiful place but Underwhelming Experience

The per semester fees to be paid was 67 thousand which was later revised close to around 90 thousand for newer batches. Everythingh was included in this amount like library fees , tution, caution(7-8 thousand in total paid during first year). For students availing any reservation benifits the fee per semester was significantly low like for SC/ST students it was around 6-8 thousand per semester. Scholarships as such cant be availed for general category students , however if you come through some reservation a one time scholarship was given of around 80 thousand rupees.

the teachers are so good and they try so hard to make students give maximum output to pass semester exams.

The total fee for btech course is 205000 rupees per annum this includes the tutuion fee and also the hostel fee and the mess fee of one year of my course.this also includes one time registration fee of 16500 rupees This is the fee for students having family income of above 5 lpa. Those students whose family income is less than 250000 per year have to sumit thier income certificate and enjoys 100 percent off on tution fee. students are able to avail scholarships at national scholarship portal and apply for it if eligible as per their category.

I am currently pursuing Btech at NIT Srinagar, and after spending some time here, I have experienced both good and bad aspects of the college. Campus is beautiful surroundings by mountains and dal lake. Fees=327500 for 4 years including hostel and mess if income is less than 1 lakh yearly. Above 5 lakhs per annum, you have to pay more than 8 lakhs. Various gov scholarships on nsp are available ,PM YASHASHVI is the best among them if you fall under that category.Also you can apply for private scholarship like reliance foundation.

Not good in curriculum, fest are not Good as much as we want.

The semester wise fee i paid is 56 thousand where my tution fee is 0 because i am the student who have less than one lakh income per year,hostel fee is 8 thousand per semester , mess fee is 21 thousand, Institute fee is 10500.I got NSP scholarship annually

Honest review of National institute of technology Srinagar

I am paying 125000 thousand per year for the tution fees and 20 thousand per semester for mess and 15 thousand per semester for hostel . There are some benefits for students whom parents income below 1 lakh and less than 5L. They can get 100% and 66% tution fees waiver respectively

Nit Srinagar - is it worth to join

Year-wise fees is on income basis . I am sharing information about btech course. If your income is below one lakh per year so per semester fee is 10500, if income is above one lakh but below 5 lakh then you have pay 32000 then comes above 5 lakh category you have to pay 73000 per semister. One time admission fee is 6500 and caution money is 12000. I am paying 10500 per semester. Scholarship are given you have to apply from nsp portal but from past few year nsp scholarship for minority is suspended. If you belong to sc/ St category various scholarships are given on merit basis

NIT Srinagar - One of the most beautiful campuses in India.

The total fee for the B.Tech program is approximately INR 6 lakhs for the entire course duration.You need to pay 63100rs per semester as tuition fee This includes tuition and other fees over the four years. But the students belonging to category of SC/ST/PWD and having income certificate of below 1lakh will get 100% tuition fee relaxation. Apart from it students having income less than 5 lakh per annum will get 70% fee relaxation on tuition fee. The reserved category candidate can get scholarship through National Scholarship Portal.

Wish i would know before joining nit srinagar

77000 per year i have to pay belonging to category having annual family income less than 1 lakh. My tution fee per year is nil due to fee waiver for students having annual income less than 1 lakh. Students having income greater than 5 lacs has to pay a total of 162000 of tuition fee and for students between 1-5 lacs of income , the tuition fee is 62000. Students can apply for nsp scholarship based on their category. They can Easily get scholarship upto 50000.
