IIT Hyderabad Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

campus placements are generally offered in 4th year ie from the 7th semester. companies like Google, Deloitte, oracle, Jio, Paytm, etc conduct placement drives in IITH. The highest package offered is around 65LPA and the average package offered is 20LPA. percentage of students getting placed generally differs according to their branch. maximum placement can be seen in branches like computer science engineering, engineering sciences, AI, and electrical engineering. students also plan on doing their further studies. I plan on doing masters in chemical engineering in Canada after completing my bachelors degree

Placements are one of the reason I choose IITH over other branches in old IITs. Like the average package of chemical engineering is 19 lakhs per annum which is great. The highest package in chemical engineering was nearly 50 lakhs per annum this year. You can easily get into IT jobs here irrespective of your branch if you learn important concepts. You may even get an internship in 3rd year itself if we are good with our skills. IITH has improved a lot in 10 years in terms of placements. I hope it soon competes with old IITs. The overall average package is around 21,00,000 per annum this year.

Placements of my college are quite good. People get interns mostly after their 5th semester and may even get PPO. Other than that after completition of 7th sem the campus placements starts. Many companies visited our college including the big ones like Microsoft,JP MORGAN,Gold man sachs,JIO,Zomato,etc,. The highest package was 90lpa and the average is 20lpa. percentage students placed is aroud 90. My plans after getting a degree is to do a high paying job.

The course is very good in terms of relevance as its closing rank in before electrical in IIT hyderabad. the course is very good and interesting for people who are interested in solving engineering problems using coding and it involves lot of mathematical coding which is also tough. the toughness of the course is a point to consider while enrolling. the course contains many core subjects of mechanical, material scince, bioengineering etc. and we use coding to solve these real life problems.the course itself is enough at the btech level to get a placement but if u wanna pursue higher studies u can choose any prestige university as they contain MS in computational engineering. I think the course is almost perfect but there are few course that should be replaced by some circuit topics of more computer science which will help in our coding career.the exams are quite easy if u spend 1-2 hrs daily. but u have to focus on your coding career too.exams for each subject are conducted 3 times per sem

In IITH my branch got a decent placent of median 24 lakhs and got a highest of 73lakhs sand some are getiing jobs by internships and ppa . Google ,Amazon, Intel, Zomato has visited for placements .

I generally liked the course as it is interdisciplinary course,we got to explore different branches and topics,even if I want to go to IT sector I have many courses related to numerical methods,python,c, scientific computing, parallel programming and there are many foreign universities that prodive PhD and masters in this course and in my college there is a lot of research opportunities happening that require simulation, modelling, programming

from childhood i had interest on mechanical engineering so i optyed the mech in iith and it is tier 1 college .the couse curriculum is good andthe teaching is good they expalin deeply and in an easy way.the timing of exams are somwhat odd

The course was nice I thought that iit will be tough and it will be difficult to pass the subjects but the courses are easy and the instructors were too kind and genuine and they made us learn all subjects easily there was no pressure from the faculty and no restrictions in the hostel

Here placement is provided by college itself In 7th Sem student can get placement offer Microsoft google and wipro and many big brands visit IITH for placement offer Highest package is 94 LPA and average is around 20LPA Around 68% students get placement I will go for higher studies

After or from 4th year that is from 7th semester placements are going on. And from 3rd year you can go for internship. The average package here is 20 lakh per year. About 70 percentage of students gets placements every year. Highest package is 65 lakh per year. After my degree is over I will prepare for government job.
