Course Curriculum Overview

I generally liked the course as it is interdisciplinary course,we got to explore different branches and topics,even if I want to go to IT sector I have many courses related to numerical methods,python,c, scientific computing, parallel programming and there are many foreign universities that prodive PhD and masters in this course and in my college there is a lot of research opportunities happening that require simulation, modelling, programming

Internships Opportunities

We have good internship opportunities. People after 2nd year and 3rd year starting get internship. Some students who perform well get PPO. Companies like Google,he shaw,Thomas routers , Microsoft,PayPal and etc come to college

Fees and Financial Aid

General open students have to pay 1,65,000 rupees per month and for reservation students there is a financial assistance and there is a bank in the collage that gives college loan. And tution fees is 1 lakh and message is 16,500 rupees and other is hostel fees

Campus Life

These is less college life compared to other IIT ,because a lot of funds here go to construction of the campus but the infrastructure available in IIT Hyderabad I the best ,it may be architecture or research facilities or sports complex. There are post of clubs here and mainly sci tech cluds are so good

Hostel Facilities

First years are given double sharing rooms and from 2nd year single rooms there are 2 messes here. Hostels facilitess rae so good ,hostel have radiant cooling and there is no restriction or ban when to come out

Hostel Fee: INR 15000 per year

Admission

I writen IIT JEE Mains and got 99 percentile and then wrote IIT JEE Advanced exam and got a good rank. Then I applied for jossa councelling and opted IIT Hyderabad Computational engineering. I have written other exams as BITSAT and Telangana EAMCET but I didn't want to got to private colleges due to various reasons like fees,so I opted IIT

A good yet strict college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum in this college is not bad. The teaching standards should be highly improved. In comparing the teaching standards, firstly the recruitment of faculty should be enhanced and they should not be recruited simply through some certifications. Good modes or methods of teaching, and certain capabilities are required to become teacher for engineers.

I chose this college because it has got an absolutely great NIRF Ranking 8. Moreover, this is a government college, so it has comparatively lesser fees. I could not get into much better-ranked colleges due to my JEE Advanced Rank. But, this college has all the facilities that I longed for. Memories in Making Ft. IIT Hyderabad

You have to clear the JEE ADVANCED examination with flying colours to get the chance of getting admitted to IIT Hyderabad , for civil engg the cutoff is around 7-8k. After clear JEE ADV you have to apply for JOSAA counselling, IIT Hyderabad takes admission through JOSAA counselling. If you get IIT Hyderabad in the JOSAA rounds, you have to then apply in the IIT Hyd admissions form and pay fees in that site. I haven't availed any reservation benifits. Well, there are many surprise class tests and tests once in every week, and major semester tests happen once in every 6 months. The tests are challenging bur fair. They should improve the payment site as sometimes there are technical errors....Read More

IIT Hyderabad Experience

IIT Hyderabad is India's second generation IIT and one of the top ten engineering colleges in the country. I submitted the online application forms from the college's official website after passing the GATE exam. I was able to meet the college's eligibility requirements. During my COAP counselling plus I was also called for PI after getting selected, I was assigned an admission seat, and I consider myself extremely fortunate to be a part of IIT Hyderabad.
