College provides hostel facilities for boys and girls along with mess facilities. Girls hostel has a capacity to accommodate 499 students and boys hostel has a capacity of 622 students. Yes , i applied for many other colleges too but due to my low ranking I got seat in this college, but even this college is not that bad the course ihave taken this college comes in Top 17 in Telangana. The admission process is very simple when get alloted to this college you have pay online money to counseling govt website, it will give a specific date to visit college,you have submitt all your documents and pay external alumini and challan fees and that it ,if your home is more than 40km you will be allotted in hostel .

Due to economical problems, I have had to choose government college. But that too I need JNTUH certificate, which helped me a lot in my placements at higher studies. I have just applied to government colleges itself. At the time I joined this college, I got around 11000 rank in EAMCET. That's pretty decent to achieve this college. But I would not recommend.

In my first phase of counselling through EAMCET i have been placed in GATE college of engineering but I'm not satisfied because of their infrastructure and less faculty. At the last phase of counselling i have been placed in jawaharlal technological university of Hyderabad, Manthani . And I'm kind of satisfied with the college so i decided to join. I have applied to many private colleges but my rank in EAMCET is not considerable to that college i have been applied so i got rejected. To get placed in JNTUHUCEM first you have to clear EAMCET entrance test and the admission process is quite easy submitting the needed certificates submission in the college and paying the admission fees of 5000. Cutoff for castes like sc/st is so less and for other castes they have to score a lil higher.

The eligibility for course is passing of 10+2 and also by writting the government exam called EMCET and need to qualify in that.The cutoff marks will be according to the reservation and the candidates and also the benefits will be claimed in fees and the difficultly will be high as many will write the entrance exam.

How is JNTU College of Engineering, Manthani, for CSE?
My brother visited JNTUH-CEM for some Workshop Training Classes and also visited the Manthani Campus before his EAMCET Counseling choice filling. Here's how he described the College
- The climate is hot and humid even during winters, the reason being the location of Coal Fields nearer to the College Campus.
- The college provides decent accommodation facilities and more hostels are under construction to house the increasing batch size.
- The CS department here is not well-established and has only 2 permanent faculty. One is the HOD and the other is the Vice-Principal of JNTUH-CEM. Most classes are conducted by Contract based faculty members. Out of these, only a few are good at teaching.
- JNTUH CEM students are eligible to participate in recruitments held by JNTUH for its Constituent Colleges all combined. The official placement figures are a bit inflated so don't be disappointed.
I am strongly against you joining this college especially if you can make it into the colleges that come under the top 20/30 rankings in Telangana State. But if you are joining JNTUH CEM because of financial issues, then consider joining JNTUH CES only. This is because it is located in Hyderabad and therefore offers better opportunities than Mathani. There are a plethora of coaching institutes here such as GATE coaching, GRE coaching, etc.
