IIT Hyderabad Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Many of the top companies visit IITH. Summer Insternship is available between 6th and 7th semester while Semester Internship is available for 6th semester. Most of the companies provide Pre Placement Offer after Internship. Placements are available for students in final year. The best part about IITH is that becuase of it's relations with Japanese government, many of the Japanese companies like Mercari, NTT, Willings come to campus as well for plavement in Japan.

The campus placements are excellent, with the number of companies visiting increasing each year. For quant roles, we have top firms like Goldman Sachs, Optiver, and Quadeye, while for software, the opportunities are vast, with companies like Apple, Google, and Amazon regularly visiting. For AI roles, companies such as Amex, KLA, and Thomson recruit annually, offering pre-placement offers (PPO) in the range of 50-60 LPA. The eligibility criteria generally require no active backlogs.The average package for top branches is around 30 LPA.

They are really great. Companies visiting have been increasing as the years pass. We have companies like gs,optiver,quadeye etc for quant roles. For software there are endless companies. Apple also has visited our campus. Google, Amazon are regular companies here. For AI roles, Amex, KLA, Thomson and many more visit our campus every year with a very good ppo of around 50-60 lpa. Eligibility criteria is mostly no active backlogs. Placement rate for AI is around 96%. For CS and related dept. It's around 80-90%. Avg. Package is 30lpa for top branches. I'll be pursuing master in the field of AI after getting my degree.

The placements here are absolutely brilliant. As per the standards of the iits here excellent opportunities are available here. My college collaborates with Japanese and Taiwan companies for placement

Campus placements of my college are very good. We have got a very good alumuni network which connects students with very good companies and our college has also collaborated with Japan and Taiwan for placements and jobs

The curriculum includes a mix of theoretical problems and practical appliances with courses like C programming and sustainable development. College authority emphasizes on internships, and real-life industry projects ensuring students gain real-world experience. There is a large range of electives and options to specialize in different fields such as Water resources engg, Traffic engg, Airport and railway Engg. The civil engineering course is a combination of regular class exams and major exams. Its becomes a bit difficult if anyone opts for a double major and a double minor. The exam dates are sufficiently spaced out so that students can be well prepared. Attending the lectures makes the exams a bit easier and we get detailed reviews on the ERP web.

From 7th semester students are allowed for the placements. A total of 335 companies visited the campus and 176 offers like JP Morgan, IBM , Capgemini , Microsoft , Google , Flipkart , Axtria ,Bajaj Auto , BHEL , NVIDIA ...... For Compute Science this highest package offered is 90,00,000/- and average is 29,68,000/- Nearly 70 to 80% of students got placed Building my own startup.

The campus plcaements are very good even after considering the present recession situation. 22 lpa on averagei would say not sure but the highest was 90 LPA domestic and thats pretty good considering IITH to be a 2nd Tier IIT.

Usually the college placements are good here for Btech and Mtech. But due too recession placements are effected for 2024 batch. The hiring is less but the package offered was more. The CGPA eligibility is worse as it need to be minimum 8.

Placement offers are good in our college.Highest is 63.78lpa and average is 20.07lpa with 335 companies participation and 621offers.Placement rate is74.90percentage. My plans after getting a degree is to get a job with good package.
