IIT Hyderabad Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Students become eligible for campus placement from the 7th semester in the 4th year. The companies which visited the collage during placement season includes, Google, Accenture, Amazon, Microsoft,Goldman Sach's, Flipkart, TSMC etc. the highest package of IITH for 2023 was 90 LPA and the lowest package is 6.25 LPA. The placement percentage is 74.90% and the number of recruiters is 335 and the number of students placed is 570. I am currently planning to peruse MTech in biotechnology and aim to become a professor.

Some exams like calculus, probability, linear algebra will be basically hard exams . For that we have to prepare for more time , but all should be prepared by their own . No facalty will teach , they share the slides of class and we have to prepare from that

From the 3rd year itself students start doing internship and as we know they get a placement in 4 th year.highest package of year 2024 stood at 90 lpa and average around 18 lpa.in cse 80%students got placed,ee it is 88%,in civil 66%...

IIT Hyderabad is great at its placement very one may not have the placement opportunities but maximum of them can get there placement when they even pass out graduation from here with an average CGPA , my plans after getting degree is to get a good job or travel abroad for my master in my department

Highest package this year was 90 LPA and the avg is 23LPA. The percentage of students getting placements is 74.90%. I am still trying to figure whether to do higher studies or to do a job.

the placments are pretty impressive in the college which offers 30LPA ,which is highest among the new IITs which are trying to compete ,many opportunities ,many multi national companies.have a very higher rate of being placed in the campus placements with very decent packages many companies as AMD,samsung research,adobe research

From the 4 th semister students can apply for internships and quiet good amount of people get selected with an average salary of around 80000 per month for the internships. Campus placements are at the end of 3 rd year and over 95% of the applied people get placed and in 2024 placement drive the department of AI had a average pacakge of 31 lakhs per annum. And few people even get into higher studies such as Phds . And the compinies visited in the recent drive are samsung research, adobe research, google, microsoft, amazon.

Our course curriculum is way better than any other universites, it has been improvised since last year. i personally think it is one of the best out there. Yeah when we talk about frequency and timing of exams it's a bit odd, like I think there are a bit more exams.

Placements are very very good. Almost all students get placed . Most of my friends got placed. My course has no placement companies so far as it is a specialized course where we work at hospitals. Students in btech can sit for placement exams from 3rd semester. Almost all students study very hard for them and their work pay off. For, mtech students they can sit in their 2nd year. Precisely to say in the 3rd semester. I don't know much about companies as I m not from that field. But the packages are quite decent. Number of offers made are really large. Each company takes almost 10 students. There are really good packages available for btech students than mtech students. I'm not sure. But if what I know the highest package is 1 cr per annum and average is 15-20 lakh per annum. Almost 90 percent students get placed. There are big and small offers as well. All those placed don't get into good companies but most of them are placed. It's upto you to decline of accept. I plan to go abroad for phd.

Almost everyone who entered the interviews got placed and in general computational engineering people bag the highest packages. I plan on either MS or going for petrochemicals. The internships start from 3-2.
