Likes

Overall campus is good like the infrastructure of buildings here is so different than any other IITs.
Opportunities for internship is really good here.
The company that comes for Placements are from very big companies

Dislikes

It still a developing IIT so some of the buildings are still being build.
Mess food is not that up to the mark, they could hire some good cooks
During snacks time we only get milk or tea extras should be free too(food that have to be paid to eat)

Course Curriculum Overview

Well it was easy for me as I opted civil engineering branch because I will prepare for government job. Teaching here is good. At the end of the day you have to prepare yourself for the future challenges. Problem solving, giving speech at an event do give real world experiences.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 84000 per year

Internships Opportunities

We got both incampus and out campus placement. The companies that comes here for placement are for example from Google, amazon etc as I am still in 1st year so I am not much aware of the companies that come here for placement.

Placement Experience

After or from 4th year that is from 7th semester placements are going on. And from 3rd year you can go for internship. The average package here is 20 lakh per year. About 70 percentage of students gets placements every year. Highest package is 65 lakh per year. After my degree is over I will prepare for government job.

Fees and Financial Aid

Since I am ST my fee was lower than other category that is around 84000 per year. From which 16000 is for mess, 15000 is hostel, 10500 for other activities this is for one semester and for both it is around 84000.

Campus Life

The campus here is very big it is around 600 acres which is not small. You will see people everywhere from hostel circle to academic circle to canteen. There are so many club here that are always active if not that one then this one. And the sport ranging from cricket to badminton to swimming so many sports to gym.

Hostel Facilities

For 1st year it will be sharing room and from 2nd year onward it will be single room. They will provide you with bed, study table, chair, wardrobe. Running water all the time and hot water from the same tap. Mess is good could be better the menu changes everyday and once every month there is a special dinner where tasty foods are prepared. Registration was not difficult

Hostel Fee: INR 30000 per year

Admission

You have to clear both JEE mains and JEE advance to get into IIT Hyderbad. After clearing both the exams JOSSA will conduct seat selection based on your rank(marks). As I am from ST category the cut off for me was low as compare to general and I also got the benefit of excluding the tuition fee. Difficulty of JEE advance as compare to JEE mains is very different, it gets much harder.

Placement Experience:

From 3 -1 only students become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited for our college was Jpmorgan,google,microsoft,Infosys capgemini tcs etc.. The highest package in our college was 54 lpa from Microsoft and average packages were 5-10lpa the percentage of getting placements by students is 75% and my plans after getting the degree is to get a good placement in a MNC's.

I would 3 out of 5 because only the basic they thought in every college while getting the job they ask advance concept but I can that the course curriculum has improved now and they are preparing students for further jobs. Placement Experience:

My campus life and experience

Placement Experience:

Until know i got some info among the placements and internships is that yes, this college is providing campus placements good as some of the recent companies were Infosys, Capgemini,and other companies drive has been conducted in the college for the 4rth years. So the placements are good here no worrys too. But the LPA is less a bit like in the past years as the software industry is getting more hard to get jobs.

There are many companies costing the campus for recruitement like Accenture ,Infosys , keka , Accenture , infor etc and many other startup . They mostly consider students from Cse background but even allow others if they have skills . Accenture and cognisant will hire many students and there pay would be around 5 lakh per year for service roles . If they take for other roles then the salary is more 60-70% people get placed , some prefer doing masters even though they are placed

A COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW OF IITHYDERABAD

I appiled for vit and emcept but main goal to join iit, no i dint get rejection in any colleges i got admission in every college but i didnt choose because of my dream college. In iits we get very good and merit people and we get more free time and time to study ourself and learn things by ourself. We have a lot fests at least for a month we enjoy a lot and we have a lot of resouces to get knowledge and good faculity. The only one eligiblity for our college is to write jee advancee and mains . First for mains more than 14 lakhs people write and in that 14 lakhs 2to 3 lakh people slected for advance. And 23 k people will select fot advance the cutoff will be like we should get 95% above for mains but we dont know for advance they change for every year.
