- Eating options 2-3 years ago werent good, now there are plenty

Course Curriculum Overview
Fractal Academics allows the students to spread the courses over fixed time periods, rather than accumulating courses at one time, which increases pressure and stress. College also allows Liberal Arts and Creative Arts courses, which helps in overall development of students
Fees and Financial Aid
Roughly 2.8 Lakhs is paid annually by unreserved students. Tuition fees is 2 Lakhs per year, mess fees is roughly 20k and the rest is registration fees, gymkhana fees, lab fees etc. For people having income less than 6 Lakhs/p.a, 2/3 of tuition fee is waived For people having income less than 1 Lakhs/p.a, full tuition fee is waived
Campus Life
The annual techno-cultural fest of IITH is Elan & nVision which happens every year around Jan-Feb. The library of IITH is very huge and contains almost every important literature of technical and non-technical fields too. Every sport from Badminton, Cricket, Basketball, Football, TT, Squash, Weightlifting is offered here.
Admission
From my JOSAA counselling, I was getting IITH, IITM, IITG, IITK, IITR but I chose IITH because of the branch I was getting here (Mechanical and Aerospace), which is the only college to offer this in the country. Also Hyderabad being a hub for defence and aeronautical industries, motivated me to take this college
Faculty
Faculty to Student Ratio is roughly 10:1, and faculties are very approachable over mail or even in person. I personally liked studying under Prof Niranjan Ghaisas, because of his areas of research (HPC).
Night Life
Canteen at late night is the usual student social hotspot for socialising, sometimes student sing together at night, which creates a homely atmosphere. Girls can enter boys hostel but they have to leave by 12 midnight. Gym is also very spacious with all the modern equipments
